Cannondale doesn't photograph well but in the flesh it's a looker when set up properly.
FTFY.
Remember the red/silver CAAD10 Racing Edition? the red is actually fluorescent red.

Why are shifters pointing at moon?

I use the sks clip on ones for wet club runs. Preferable over constant ear ache from those behind moaning if you don't have them

Because I haven't adjusted the bars yet. They're not even centred in the stem.

Doesn't sound like they set it properly.

I opened the box and it wasn't the black one but after about 20 minutes I came around to the idea
Did the black one have the goofy number 71 on it?
Can live without that, to be honest.

Yeah. Wasn't keen on that either, reminded me of a superdry tshirt. That and the matte black paint that I've got on my supersix which is a pain in the ass to clean persuaded me to stick with the glossy blue/black

Have you got a photo of the bike that you were buying from Exeter? I wonder if i know who's it is/was/will see it knocking around now it hasn't turned up.

It was coming from Devon but going through the Exeter depo, a guy called Carl Spiers. Its a SystemSix, look a few pages back for a photo. But... The tracking changed back to collected yesterday so gave them a rang and.... They have found it. Somehow it managed to get to the Brighton Depo and should be delivered to me on Tuesday all things going well. Fingers crossed. I've been refunded now so will have to re paypal the money, or free frame. ;)

Opinions on the SuperSix Evo 5 105 2014? Frame is about 950g, so 200g less than a CAAD10. How does the ride quality compare? External cable routing only, but not a big deal. And how come it has a UCI sticker on the seat tube if it's not the Hi-Mod version?
-
• #1912
All Supersix Evo's are UCI, aren't they? Not that it matters much.
-

Fact it all externally routed (unlike the CAAD10) helped, it's still a great frame.

Have rented a Synapse disc Di2 for a riding holiday in Majorca this Friday, as a fat bastard I'm looking forward to the descents alot.

Rep for not calling it a training camp.

Quick cannondale question though - which is the earliest frameset that has internal routing?
I need a replacement for my cracked 2010 Six.
-
• #1917
interested in how it is, am tempted to save up for one.

Quick cannondale question though - which is the earliest frameset that has internal routing?
Might need to be a bit more specific on this, as in both brake and gears? and which model?
As far as I remember, the internally routing happen very recently, says 2014 (give or take), the Synapse have full internal routing, whether the Supersix/CAAD10 only had the brake internally routed.

Di2 only tho.

I'm replacing a 6 which has 7900 DA on it.
The plan was, before discovering the crack, to have it converted to for internal gear cables (because moar aeros).
The new plan is to buy a frameset with similar geometry, that already has internal routing.
But it looks as though I may be SOL.

Fair enough, however I don't think Cannondale frame are known for it's aerodynamic design, which kinda make this internal cable routing moot.
-
• #1923
Their current marketing is that they don't need to do an 'aero road bike' as they do one already - the Evo is aero enough as it is.

Their current marketing is that they don't need to do an 'aero road bike'.
That what I got from the Cannondale reps, they take similar stand like Mavic do with their ageing rims technology.

That's what I'm hoping.
I was super pissed off when I opened the box and it wasn't the black one but after about 20 minutes I came around to the idea. Now it's set up and looking like a bike I'm very happy with the colour (which hasn't been faithfully reproduced in the photo)
