  • doubt he actually sold them at that price though..

  • Maybe. To be fair, the crank arms are mismatched - one SI, one SL, they are silver, and it's an old wired SRM that communicates via a serial to usb cable which is a pain to work with. £350 on a really good day.

  • .

  • Why did that not even show up on my saved searches!!!

  • I have 'powermeter' and 'hollowgram crank' as saved, and it popped up in both.

Worth waiting for some black arms though I reckon.

  • If anyone has a 58cm CAAD10 for sale, frame only or full bike, please let me know. CAAD10 only.

  • Best place (for price) to get a 56cm CAAD 10? Can have a basic group- for a guy at work.

  • Is anyone looking for a winter hack? About to sell my 58 caad8 with apex and a load of new components. Will offer it here before gumtree/eBay if anyone is interested. In Bristol but can deliver to London. Excuse the phone pic.

  • Price? BB30 or BSA threaded?

  • BSA threaded. Following components are less than 350 miles old:

    Headset
    BB
    Wheels
    Tyres (25mm duranos)
    Cassette (12-28)
    Chain
    Big ring

Left pedal is pretty much dead but everything else is good to go. Couple of paint chips, tiny ding on top tube that's barely noticeable and right shifter is scratched where it slid down a wall. Left shifter is force after apex one cracked.

    Looking for £250

  • Strikes me as a very fair price.

  • Thanks. If it gets to the 'bay I'll aim for more but thought I'd offer it to an aficionado first

  • I'd really like a white headshok boot, was thinking of trying to cut down a 4x4 jeep gaiter in white to see if the diameter is close, any ideas, do you reckon it could work?
There was a grey one that came on some of the G-star cannondales a few years back

  • Steering my work friend towards a CAAD8 with 11-speed 105 for 999.99. Seems decent?

  • thinking of trying to cut down a 4x4 jeep gaiter in white to see if the diameter is close, any ideas, do you reckon it could work?

If the diameter for both the top and the bottom seals are spot on, then yeah, it might. But what are the chances? The top seal and bottom seals are different diameters. You could ask Craig Smith if he has any ideas / anything kicking around.

I don't think bodging it is an option, sadly.

  • Not great value compare to the one SS Howard posted .. plus FSA cranks and Schwalbe Lugano .. aint nobody got time for that. There are much better deals to be had for that money. Ribble not good?

  • I assume he won't fit a 48,52 or 56? Or can't buy online?

  • 58 not 56. He's a 56 unfortunately. Already seen those dealz.

  • Yeah 58. Bummer. Get a 52 and go for the euro pro look :)

  • Can offer him sizing advice on Cannondale but not ribble.

  • They have stack and reach geo charts too ..

  • Nope. Pricey. Found my friend a CAAD10 with 10-speed 105 for £550, second-hand but looked like new.

  • Would love to look second hand but he wants to use our ride2work scheme.

  • Second hand is most of the time a better deal, although no warranty etc.
