I would have to agree that it is priced very aspirationally to say the least.

They probably would have had more chance if it was still the current model. A good couple of decades before it becomes a 'classic'

This has turned out alright. Imho

How's the tyre clearance on CAAD 10 and 12? I really want to squeeze Corsa 30mms on a CAAD

I run P-Zeros 30mm on my CAAD12 with no issues at all

This one is cheaper than that 15k one and is apparently a legit team bike

Both that and yours are superb

Squeezed on some 30mm Corsa's onto my CAAD10 track just last week. Fork and much of the frame setup is the same as the road but the brake bridge is different and might be the limiting factor on the road frame.

Looks like I’m joining the Cannondale family as I’ve acquired a super six hi-mod evo in the sales via cyclescheme.
Would prefer to build with SRAM than Shimano so am pondering Red D1 vs Force D2. I’ve been using Force D2 on my winter road/gravel setup for the last six months and have been pretty impressed with it though Red D1 can be had quite cheap given that a new version seems imminent. I’m guessing the main weight saving is the chainset in terms of red vs force. I’m also curious about hollowgram chainsets and whether they are worth considering?
I’m new to the Cannondale world so any pointers or build advice is welcome. For wheels I suspect I’ll go with LB on DT Swiss hubs.

Re the above. I also have an eleven speed EPS Super Record rim groupset. So another option could be that I repurpose the cranks, derailleurs and battery from that and then try and source some calipers and eps hydro shifters. I do like Campagnolo though I have a feeling that there is something funny about eleven speed hydro disc chainsets having a proprietary “H11” chainset because of optimising chain line or something or other.

Gorgeous frame, looking forward to seeing build.
I can’t advise on the technical aspects of fitting the groupo, but I do think the hollowgram chainring / crankset are amazing to ride. Solid. And look the part which is even more important.

It was a joke brother.
Also that gen supersix did use an offset BB area, you just didn’t have to redish the wheel.

I’ve got 30mm exposures on a CAAD10, fine until it gets muddy

Nice. Which size frame?

Finally got around to building up a CAAD10 bought from @jono84 last year and it just put a huge smile on my face on the first ride.
I have long legs and a short torso and am super happy with the shorter reach and taller stack of the women's frame.
Torn about the Red 10 crank... I'd like to put the Force 22 crank on there for the matchy-matchy and because my legs can't handle 130 BCD chainrings. I guess I should find a black seatpost too.

Self quoting because I have info. 30mm fits on CAAD12. Source: me

Just built this one up. It's fast and lovely to ride! Red 10-speed. Will upgrade on it slowly down the road, but as it stands now it still weighs less than my other more modern road bikes.

I’ve got a matching crank going, 167.5 mm though

Sadly the new SS is BSA so can’t take a hollogram crankset (unless anyone knows a way around that)

You can cheat with mtb long axle and bsa30 bb but the qfactor will be pretty bad

dont upgrade - best groupset ever made imo. beautiful stuff
I think it's just the wheel's out of true. Anyhow, at 14k I'm not buying it, but for other reasons that the front wheel!
