28c like my CAAD7

I’m in the process of knocking together that exact same colour scheme, typically I bought brand new 25’s only to discover that with a slight shave of the underside of the rear brake calliper I could get 28’s in .

Keep in mind that with a wider rim the brake might not be able to compress as much, leaving less tolerance at the top of the caliper / tire interface.

It’s currently sitting naked, well stripped of its blistered paint and awaiting touch up.

Not nearly as nice as yours but still a great colour way.

Hopefully this will act as a kick up the arse and I’ll get colouring in.

Worth noting other brake callipers maybe fine but frame is certainly good for 28.

It’s not a Purple CAAD12, I’ll hope you’ll forgive me.
