Two stunning examples from @Matisse and @PhilswitchEngage to inspire. I have a Cannondale T600 rolling chasis for sale if anyone is interested. New Shifter stops, quill stem adapter and 107mm bottom bracket with a 1 x drivetrain in mind.
Size Large I think 56.5 top tube, 58 ish bb to top of seat tube. Rack and mudguard mounts, 3 bottle cage mounts and i think it can take upto 38c tyres.
£100. Live south east, work tower bridge. Cash on collection preferred. Can deliver / meet up within reason.

Has anyone else fitted the wheels mfg 24mm axle shim, and found a Shimano axle quite a tight fit? I needed some force with a rubber mallet to get it through

Does anyone have a paint code for the cherry red used on the CAAD 5 Saeco?
Thanks!

that does sound unfamiliar.
I would take off and gently sand the axle / bearings with thin sandpaper. could be a small irregularity or oxydation from previous use.last time this happened to me it was with sugino cranks on regular shimano bb, i had to resort to more than mallet action to take them out after a couple of months use.

Yeah they should be very snug

Don’t do this, just make sure the axle is nice and clean then apply fresh grease
-

It's ok really. 24mm axles shouldn't take force to go into 24mm bearings without sleeves like the wheels mfg adapters. What i am describing is akin to making sure it is clean and remove any oxydatation buildup, not taking away axle material

Those WheelsMFG adaptors are very tight. They’ll normally take a whack with a mallet. Taking sand paper to a chainset is just begging to fuck something up.

New bike arrived yesterday. I love it.
Plans:
120mm Thomson - sourced
Slamthatstem
Less silver wheels - anyone keen to swap?
Less silver cages - as above?
New cranks, maybe Rotor, whilst I send these back to ShimanoLooks like I have plenty of clearance for 28s, which is a surprise.

Yeah I was a bit concerned, given the YouTube video I found of someone installing appeared to have none of it.
Well these are in now, will take for a ride this afternoon I think and see how they go. I’ll be taking them out in the next few months so fingers crossed. I applied a bunch of grease and they’re plastic so hopefully will come off ok
Cheers @b0n0rv2 sounds like it’s not just me

Anybody got one of these 2020 rim brake supersixes hanging round size 60?

Honest thoughts on CAAD13 as all year round bike?
Would like a bike with proper mudguard mounts, that still feels racy/fast. Looking at the Rival AXS version which comes with an alloy wheelset

• #16395
proper mudguard mounts
does a caad13 have this? decent if so

Need a derailleur hanger for my early 90s rigid cracknfail mtb. Any recommendations for retailers? Derailleurhanger.com looks like it has it.
Bloody lovely
