  • ...still showing June for the CAAD10 Rival Disc.

That specific model isn't coming to the UK I think.

It's a kilo lighter than the blue model (carbon rims, Red mechs etc) and very nice but whacked with early-adopter tax.

It's the kind of thing I'd be into with my own cash if and when they decide what's happening with chainlines/axle-standards and so-forth. I'm quite a fan of @skinny 's Focus.

  • Why did you sell the caad10? Anything in mind to replace it?

  • That specific model isn't coming to the UK I think.

Oh it is, it's the Nano that not coming to the UK.

CSG do have some unusual sizes left for the Rival Disc, think it's 51cm and 58cm.

  • the Nano

    Teh wat?

The Black Inc. series is a bit yuppie / Stuff Magazine. It is quite nice to see a Cannondale in reasonably inoffensive colours though.

The Racing Edition colours look quite good I think:

  • Teh wat?

Black Inc. got confused with Nano.

Specification of the Racing Edition is really good, Cannondale crankset, wide rims and Schwalbe One.

  • I bought a Nano black inc mostly because I didn't want to wait 6 months for all black S-Works tarmacs to drop and I got a really good deal

  • I didn't want to wait 6 months for all black S-Works.

Hah, now that's what I call irony.

  • ^^ very nice.

  • 'Tis true though. The only Tarmac I liked at the time didn't come as frame only and the Matt black one I wanted as 2nd choice wasn't available for ages.

So I bought the Supersix a week later

  • Looks rad. What saddle is that?

  • It was too small unfortunately. I took all of the parts from it and banged them on an FM066, which is just as good!

  • SLR kit carbonio

  • I have been waiting for one of these frames to appear second hand for bloody ages now. It's never going to happen. Looks great!

  • Picked up a CAAD 8 Sora just over a month ago, January sales coupled with cycle scheme means i'lll be paying roughly half retail price all in.

    First week home, looks like a hire car;

    CAAD standard

    And then after raiding the spare parts bin;

    CAAD mod1

Very happy with the feel of the frameset, not the prettiest bike i've owned but getting there...

  • Upgrade the wheelset when you can, cheapest Shimano is miles better than the Maddox.

  • That'll be the RS31's in the pic then!

Cheers, it's definitely been a worth while mod and made a big difference(that and the 4 season tyres). It'll get 105 or similar at the end of the year in the sales as i had my reasons for picking the Sora model.

  • I fitted the vittorias onto my race wheels this morning, Gumwall 25mm Open Corsas, have moved the Vreds onto my training wheels

  • omg tyres the wrong way around!!!!!

  • Can't wait to ride this thing again - fucking winter and ITB!

  • forgot to post mine in here now its had a few upgrades

  • Does anyone have a Hollowgram removal tool (in London) and can I borrow it for a day or two (this weekend)?

6 pack of choice in it for the lovely contributor.

  • @Mechamorgan it's actually the same as a square taper tool if you take the bit out of the end

  • It is - if you want to ruin your fancy £300 crank arms.

  • You're a gent - I'll DM youz in a bit.

@mcmyk there is a video on youtube whereby you can pull Hollowgrams with a custom milled aluminium rod and a Park Tools crank extractor, but getting hold of a bit of aluminium 120mm 5/8" stick is more difficult that just borrowing an extractor...
