I bought a BB30 Token BB and the tool (partly on here partly on the web) and realised I need press fit for my SystemSix. Anyone need one? It's the BB841TS-42A
Secondly what PF30 should I buy ? The correct Token one I can't find in stock.

Is it a bb30 or bb30A (link is to bb30a) ?

Ha the eternal question
-
• #14283
ahah yes :P
i really don't want to look up systemsix specs, the ultimate chariot ( not in @ onyerbike 's case ! ) -

I just went through this on my 2018 S6. Bb30 painted on frame. Bb30a dimensions. Press fit cups from factory. Went round the houses and then installed pf30a wheels mfg bb and it was a breeze. Felt good installing some threaded hardware.

really, they don't say ?
(the wheels mfg is great, i had it for a couple of years on my caad12, bb30a) -

Well, I didn’t speak to anyone at Cannondale. I assumed the logo on the bike would be accurate, but it seems that’s just for decoration. All sorted now but as a result I am now selling C-Bear bb30 24mm cups with regreased ceramic bearings in classifieds if anyone’s interested.

i see, not so surprising that cannondale use that bb30 logo even on a bb30a frame.
That C-bear thing is great, a friend installed it in gxp flavor, shame it is not screw-on. -

The token ID above is correct, so must be 30A.

Although the SystemSix manual says PF30, the diagram below it even shows a 73mm asymmetric shell. 😖
Just found this: https://www.i-ride.co.uk/products/components/transmission/bottom-brackets/ninja-cannondale-bb-for-24mm-axle/?sku=TK-DBB46A29-BKTK

all of this is not helped by the fact that token bbs stock pictures never match what you are going to get.

Also Token BB tool interface is ridiculously shallow. WMFG is worth the price IMO.
-
• #14292
You are probably right. I was leaning Token because my last WM BB wasn't great...

Excellent scenes at the giro

7.62kg for a climbers bike! Poor lad.

Awesome find!
(Not me though ;-))

No power meter?
-
• #14297
I know, was quite pleased with that! Saw the silver finishing kit and instantly knew it wasn’t yours.

Might have a left arm stages on it. I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t ride with power, although it would be very him.
-
• #14299
When I saw that I thought, "I bet that ends up in the Cannondale thread.".

Says in the video. No power for climbing stages to save weight. Power 2 max on flat stages
Cheers, I bought this intending it to be a project but couldn’t bring myself to break it up.
