Do you have a geo for the frame? Id potentially be interested. Also specs?
-
• #12053
Just gonna be the same as your old Caad 6 init
-
• #12054
Yeah I've always kinda regretted selling that frame. And now I understand my bike fit better I might be able to make it comfortable, plus I have a bunch of 11sp stuff I could throw on it, just need shifters

Deserves being posted again

Fuck that bike was so fast in a straight line. Trispokes corner like shit though
-
• #12057
Erm, care to elaborate?

Likewise Spinergy

Too good.
@mk1mark any appetite to split frameset?!? To be honest, the reach on that with your stem / bar setup looks massive. You sure the frame is not the right size and you don’t just need to sort this out??

to elaborate what ? the belgium rims ? i found their longevity to be ridiculous compared to their rrp, their hubs are no better, working on weight savings at the expense of durability. i am a light rider. only my experience of course
-
• #12061
Interesting experience. I ask as I had some Easton R90sl (which are from my understanding made in the same factory and are just differently branded HED Belgiums) built to Hope RS4 and have found them durable with reasonable braking and responsive.
Not me, but my bike
-
• #12062
possibly, i have not said they were not responsive. just a value for money far in the red zone for me

fuuuuccckkkkk, so tempting to take this over the Systemsix......
-
• #12065
pretty sure that they were Coda, so OEM parts badged for 'dale. should be in the specs at the end of the catalog
-
• #12066
Our bikes were weirdly similar. Shame we didnt own them at the same time
-
• #12068
Pretty sure I saw him selling it the other day...might have already gone
-
• #12069
Thanks, stem is in fact mentioned in the specs
However, it does not say CODA (only sameness), and for all CODA parts the brand is explicitly stated

Super nice build and fair price id say:
CAAD 4 SAECO/USA Sz 52 MGOOF (not mine)
-
• #12071
I wouldn't be against owning another caad7
I reckon these and the CAAD10 were the best all alu frames they did.
-
• #12072
That is very nice. I have an r700 with 650c wheels that is similar.
Red decals though - makes it go faster
-
• #12073
Always wanted a caad10 but never did get around to trying one. The 12 is absolutely excellent it must be said, but the silly seatpost size knocks it down a peg or two
-
• #12074
The seat post was the main thing that ruined my CAAD12 for me in the end, and hence it went to a new home.

Don't think these had model designations being OEM spec'ed.
Mine is marked "sameness 93.12", which roughly coincides with the age of the bike.
100 c-c, I'll PM you some pics tomorrow.
Seconded
Love the balanced use of black bits
