Will probably be fine if you have mudguards and keep it dry when not in use.

My synapse with guards was always fine, I rode that in all sorts of shit weather all year

I have a caad10 and worried the bb30 would creak. It's completely silent! Bike rode all year round here in Scottish weather.

It's almost like they actually work! Amazing.

I had a threaded adaptor in my caad10 track (metal tube) that creaked like a rocking chair. Replaced it with a praxis collet thing and it's been silent.

having just been to portland, despite the looks, I think those CAAD 13s are selling very well. Can't move for them out there, mostly with +ve rise stems

Yeah the installed correctly part is important!
There's no denying a lot of people suffer from creaks with bb30. But the same can be said for all bb standards really.
Most of the time creaks come from a poor installation.
Not all bike shop mechanics are created equal.
I believe that if you want something done right then do it your self. Get a bearing press and take your time. -

Does anyone have any experience or input on these - https://www.evanscycles.com/cannondale-treadwell-equipped-2020-hybrid-bike-EV360892
Wife is looking at one as a new commuter/town bike (the step-through version though). They look quite fun to my eye, but wondering if anyone has experience from riding one. They're out of stock in plenty of places so seem popular.

Maybe they sold the 5 or 6 of them that the US sent over. Never seen one in the flesh. But then I've never seen a Topstone either.

i've only seen one topstone in the wild, commuting through chelsea

we've sold quite a lot of them through my shop. Nice thing about them is they're much lighter than any other "shopper" style bike on the market.
I would recommend getting the cheaper one and speccing your own mudguards and rack though

Great, this is exactly what I was thinking r.e. the rack/guards so good to hear. Off the top of your head do you know if the wheels are thru-axle or QR? The spec says QR but some of the photos look like they're not.

Best caad colour made imo. I would love to get my hands on one of those!

I know. I got it for free so who cares. ;)

Fair. If you can make it ridable fair play to you! Finding the original rigid forks will be tricky.

Here’s a nice project for someone

Indeed, finding a Pepperoni-fork could be difficult.
