This looks great. How easy is the sidewall on the schwalbe ones to clean and do they measure true to size?

Not had to clean them yet on this one, but I've got a pair on my Ridley on some FFWD rims and they clean up easy enough.

Size is consistent with other Schwalbe tyres I've used, but I don't own a pair of callipers to give you an accurate reading.

caad13 welds look awful - has this been discussed?

Presumably they will end the CAAD Optimo and have just the one alu bike to rule them all.

As far as welds go they look fine. It's just that they're more visible now, probably cheaper to produce them like that

Allez Sprint wears it’s welds proudly too.

What happened to the seat clamp!!?

My CAAD 10 Black Inc had smoothed/sanded welds for the headtube-toptube and seat-cluster, but nothing done on the BB, presumably because they were not immediately visible

Thanks, unfortunately they only did them in 25c so i'm out.

The best thing about it, quite difficult to find a bike that you can set up aggressively that also takes mudguards properly. The biggest downside is the shitty BB30a.

Looking at it though, in the larger sizes at least, it’s really not that aggressive at all.

I refuse to look directly at it worrying turning blind forever, paint-schemes are violently flaccid.

Acid green would be excellent
