  • It's not so bad in the flesh, and didn't brake the bank - which for a 'do I need more length on this or not' test hits the nail on the head.

    But installing it...lol.

  • But installing it...lol.

Just file a little crabon off the steerer tube.......

  • It's the bar clamp that's 'clever
    '.

  • That doesn't look in the slightest bit annoying* :-|

  • *sarcasm btw

  • Anyone fancy a CAAD10 54cm Black/White frameset?

Given up on riding pedal cycles.

  • Wut?

  • are you sure? this was at the bike show in Padua last week, so, or they just used the same tubes changing geo, or these are just normal caad10 with track ends...

  • ha didn't see @spotter anticipated me!

  • The geometry is online, which differ to the standard CAAD10.

  • True, still wondering why they couldn't change that seat tube. :/

  • It's possible a few bikes were built for trade shows which were simply a regular CAAD10 with track ends on.

  • I think @andyp is likely right on this one...

  • If they have actually released it with that seat tube then I am seriously dissapointed. It could have been such a rad bike if they had just make this:

  • how much? pics?

  • My pink and green frame will be for sale mid way through October, it's a 56, and maybe as a full build.

  • I have this Cannondale CAAD5 Optimo Track 56cm with no use, if anybody is interested, send me offers. Too lazy to make a classified now, but maybe will have to do so. Few scratches and countable paint chips and scratches on chainstay from chain drop(on single speed) otherwise really good condition

  • Probably too expensive for them to start a new production line for a nice track biek :)

  • Yeah, I expect so, but other manufacturers manage it. If your listening Cannondale, do it properly, or not at all.

  • The only problem with the CAAD10 track is that it got a road fork instead.

  • Most versatile bikes ever. Perfect light tourer.

    CAAD9 105, £500 on BikeRadar...
My CAAD10 is up for sale as well.

  • Hopefully this gets built on the weekend (finally).

    (not my pic)

Finally decided on parts, well, accidentally half asleep purchased a full SRAM apex groupset... though the basket was just shifters and brakes. Anyway, it made up my mind!

But, I wont be using the cranks. (if anyone wants brand new Apex cranks, 172.5, 50/34, inc BB)

    Specs will be:
    SRAM apex group
    SRAM force cranks
el cheapo Shimano RS501 30mm wheels and leftover old tyres until next month.
    Deda RHM02 bars
    Zip -17 110mm stem
Thompson inline post and a Sella Italia SLS

So, kind of budget road build, for using everyday, all year round.

Future possibility - strip the paint and the 12,000 logos and respray in fluro orange, black logos (only 2)

  • SRAM apex has been kicking ass on my winter bike (caad8) for a few years now. Solid stuff.
