Looks ok. I’d swap the brakes out for Spyres with some good cable outers. But otherwise looks like a pretty useful albeit weighty whip for the money.

Look, they found some colour for the linkage!

I really like the new Habit tbh, i'm a fan of boring colour bikes, just wear a bright neon T-Shirt.

Lovely Friday afternoon welds there

I really want to buy this to replace my pinnacle but a slate lefty is going to be impossible to find cheap and I'm guessing the A-C is going to be something odd with it being 30mm travel

There’s a lefty on eBay for £500 so I was thinking less rather than more expensive
I don’t care about the silly 30mm travel. Would a 700c gravel fork be close to the same a-c as the 650b lefty?Edit: starting bid. So probably would end up more than the fox but still, I’m thinking <£150

Exactly, nah.
Rigid 700c fork? -
• #10536
Would need headset adapters but otherwise I don't see why not.
edit: A-C is around 400mm

Proper mix of parts but that is awesome and cheap

With a big dent in top tube and another on seat tube
-
• #10540
Shame. I didn't read the description
-
• #10541
Dent on top tube was there before i got the bike but it hasn't compromised strength i don't think
This kind of shit boils my piss. As if they fucking know whether the frame is compromised or not. What are they some kind of structural engineer with a deep understanding of the stresses and strains on a bike frame? No? Well then don't fucking guess - someone's teeth could depend on it.

Turbo bound?

Maybe you could offer them some piss poached sausages, obviously frozen of course.

Just got mail from Cannondale customer service they've sent me a new CAADX frame to replace my 2016 one. The 2016 one had post mount discs resulting in horrific screaming and vibrating rear stays when braking. Glad this got solved so easily. Should have done it earlier as it did keep me from using the bike.

Don't suppose anyone has a picture or can tell me the gap of the non drive side crank for a CAAD12 still using the BB30, I have taken mine off to fit a Stages arm and it appears to not go as far on as when it was from the LBS.
Seems to show more of the axle, everything is torqued correctly, top image is from LBS and bottom after fitting Stages

Chuck a spacer in if you need more preload. The crank arms are different - it’s not completely surprising there’s a bit of difference.

Thanks Howard, I did get the vernier caliper out and the thickness of the arms are the same, looks like its the stock arm with Stages gumpf fitted
I am waiting for the shims to come through the post as non fitted from stock, I have just spoken to Cannondale Spares techie who said that this seems normal and not to use the shim if possible.
Also now refitted the stock arm and its the same, the gap is not the same as it was from the LBS when the bike was new

Might be that your torque wrench is out a bit, or theirs was out a bit, or whatever.
As long as it's not noisy and the wave washer isn't completely crushed just ride it.
Asking for a friend..
No really, i am !
Mate has announced he has ordered a Topstone Sora, delivery expected in January.

Just started looking into it as i will get questions on it.
Seems like OTP is around 24.5Lbs, has an FSA square taper chainset and BB, cable discs.
Internetz reckons frame is a bit porky for a Dale which might be a good thing.
No dramas about tools and swapping BB's out, and cable discs can be improved with new outers and pads etc etc.
Any thoughts ? anyone seen one ?
