I have one of the previous gen CAAD12 discs I might be looking to move in the next couple of months

Searching for a size 56 CAAD 4/5 Saeco frame(set), ideally the US colorway or the optimo in bordeaux - any hints?
Thanks

Any reason the Topstone wouldn't work for 'Cross?
I know nothing about bikes that ain't for tarmac only. -

From what I understand it’s basically a synapse with more tire clearance so the bb is a bit low and cable routing might not be ideal. Having said that, I’ve done CX on a trek domane and it’s made zero difference - because I’m still shit

Damn! Under 5kg and aluminium...
Trying to get my Caad10 to 5kg also. -

More bb drop and a longer wheelbase makes for a less nimble but more planted ride I guess? Just need a commuter really and want to pretend this will fit the bill.

If you want to race cross on occasion and commute, surely a CAADX is the bike for you?

That's fit

Are these carbon or alu rims? What hubs? Really like Capo

I scoured through the Topstone geometry (i'm considering buying one) and i can find essentially nothing in common with the Synapse.
If anything it's more like a CAADX with better cable routing, a sloping top tube and a bit more BB drop (although the BB height is only 3mm diff)

I think it would be a perfect commuter/weekend adventure bike

I reckon so. Forget the bit about cross. I was being silly.

Found these two shiny shiny's in a 1996 catalogue recently, thought here would be a good place to post them...

These are quiet common and also fairly cheap as they’re build around 26” wheels. I was thinking about getting one locally and go for a slave commuter with risers, silver dura ace and silly carbon wheels. Would be a banging bike I reckon.

I would just wait a couple weeks and something will probably pop up on the forum
