Thanks macaroon and Howard. Is there an easy way to tell which one is it?
Cheers,

If you have the carbon SI crank then it’s BB30. There were plenty of BB30 caad8s, 7s, 6s.
Eyeballing the bottom bracket shell from below if you know what you are looking for will tell you. Or just pop the crank arm off and measure the spindle dia- IIRC the carbon SI crank has captive bolts. It’s one of the few good things about them :)

Caad3 vs Cad3 = caad3, logo design issue, cf snapshot from 97 catalogue ;). I think frames stickered "cad3" are older.
These are also different than old cad 3.0 series frame, the one before 2.8 series frame, with funny dropouts :)
For Rsomething vs Rsomethingelse, except than the bigger the better, it's difficult to tell without proper catalogue for year and country, too much variations..

Howard, you are right, it is BB30 (confirmed by a mechanic). There are not many available cranksets for BB30 here, but I managed to find a FSA Energy crankset with BB for a reasonable price (85€).

Where are you?
You can pick up used / unwanted BB30 cranks in the UK reasonably easily and cheaply.
Did the carbon FSA crank die? I think they were recalled, or at least the first generation of them was.

Well I am in Slovenia and the above mentioned crankset was more or less the only one available in stock around here.
The pedal insert on the carbon one became loose, which I learned is not so surprising! -

I literally could care less about the spam.A while back I updated my Devon Bike for the bike I should've bought a long time ago.
I wish I had bought it a long time ago.

I haven’t checked to see if they’ll do a Slate for 2019, so you might have got it just in time.

It was second hand. I decided mid night shift.
Really need to ban myself from ebay/ other selling sites mid night shifts. -

I'm sad to inform you that if you can ride frames that are sized for me, riding ones sized for Eyebrows may be challenging, and vice versa.
-
• #10092
Sad face. Can you buy a slate, paint it in a wild colour and then sell it to me for a massive discount please?
-
• #10093
I do really want a Slate.

I thought that if I waited to (possibly) get that setup then the bike would have sold out.
Fixed that for you.
Don't get me wrong, there's brilliant cycling in Hong Kong but it's easy to get bored. Get off the island as much as you can. Catching the sunrise at Sai Kung Country Park is pretty special but then bikes are banned after 8am because Hong Kong.
Taiwan and northern Thailand are a short flight and have endless options. And (I think) better food.
