I was relying on you for answers...
Is £25 out there ok? thetrainline says thats the cost- is there better?
-

I am taking the train back for £20.50...
But I am toying with the idea of riding at least part of the way back. Come along!

I have work...
£43 for the return from Exmouth - WTF?!?!
-
• #80
That seems a bit steep. Ride up to Exeter and get the proper train. You'll need to go that way to go to Lympstone Commando anyway...
-
• #81
£43 for that as well!
-
• #82
Invoice work for it, if they won't let you have the time off.

I'm planning to ride back along the way to Weymouth for Sunday plans. 3 hours and £30 from there.

Fuck I'm stupid.
Managed to book a return from Bristol Temple Meads instead of Exeter.
Sigh. Never book tickets late at night.
A couple of years ago, I rode on to Exeter and took the train back to Bristol. If your reservation isn't too early, you could make it.

That is in fact what I have chosen to do. Thankfully I had booked an afternoon train so I have the time. My incompetence has only cost me £12, mercifully.

Sounds good. Have fun. I would have loved to do it this year, but that week-end is the only week-end this summer when I can see a very good friend. On the upside, I might get to ride from London to her place in Devizes, which is about 100 miles.

19:00 train from Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads (arr. 20:40). APPARENTLY my bike is also booked on the train but I am somewhat sceptical.
Is everyone else (Corlis, CB, et al) getting this same train?
I shall try and book it.
Getting back, are people getting open tickets?
I would hve sorted it out 5 hours ago when you were talking about it, but y'know, I had to do work. Don't some of you have jobs? :-(

You need to get your priorities straight, young man.

You guys need to get me one of these jobs where you play on the internet all day and still get a juicy salary!
I'm booked on the 19:00. Bike also booked...

I didn't bother booking last time, just went to the station and caught the 3rd train
-
• #94
I'm on the 19:00, dumps is on the 18:45 I think.

Which weekend is this? The coming one or the one thereafter? I fear I may be booked up but I'm interested in doing it as I've friends with whom I can stay injustice outside of Exeter.

Checks date in title. Alas I'm busy lunching at Noma then my would-be father in law's 70th. Lots of wine for me!
