A cracking day's racing. A lot more strength in depth this year. Last year I made the final but this year, despite being quicker, I didn't stand much of a chance of making it so had to settle for third in the minor final.

Big shout out to Hillbilly for a cracking ride in his final, up 7 places on last year despite having come back from breaking his hip like an old lady, the young fella spinning out on a hire bike and bossing it and to Dan Bray, who was riding only his second ever bike race and still made the main final. Chapeau!

I'm not sure I can wait a whole year for another one, can we have two events next year?

OK, there will be two events, one at HH, one indoors in Manchester.

Tickets and entry have opened for Manchester, which is on June the 28th.
