  • With the retroshift? I assumed you'd changed the gear before getting into the drop.

Also on tourer, you'd have your drop bar set higher I reckon, seen a lots of tourer with hand in the drop than the top.

  • like this?

  • Quite right Brother Apollo.

  • I am a T-Rex.

  • Only on my computer.

That's your Mather?!? bloody hell! you told me you had one, but i didn't realise it was so nice!

  • Well I've dented it since then.

  • I can't wait to dent mine so I can be less precious toward it.

  • Well I've dented it since then.

toptube? would still like to see an earlier pic, those gloomy ones can't do it justice...

May take a while... 500MB of images. Dropbox says 40 minutes left.

  • Well I've dented it since then.

Heartbreaking. that first bit of damage really takes the fucking shine off things.

  • My post was a bit naff and unserious. As I deleted a lot of boring personal details. Thus kinda missed the point. Basically, hes dressed up in princess dresses on several occasions, in fact whenever he gets the chance. Even his toothbrush is identfiable from his brothers because its pink.

You get all sorts of comments by adults. judging the situation with their adult mind. But feck it. Hes a kid having fun, and expressing himself. I always tell him he looks cool.

Kids need their self confidence reinforced, not misplaced guidance into an adult stereotype.

I have to commend you on your outlook...For that is all that matters, is your acceptance and love for 'him'...
I don't like to use inverted commas, tho to be honest, If your child is intersex or trans, then growing up in a society that it polarised either male or female...with no understanding or concept of a third sex is extremely stressful. Even at 4 yrs old I knew...and knew that the minute I walked through those gates I was going to be entering hell on earth, and it was until I left 11 years later. That when your child gets home they have the love and support that only a parents love can offer...everything will be ok...
When you get home from school after having a shit day times five times 5 years and you get it from your parents too...It's no wonder that gender variant people have a higher suicide rate than any other.

People seem to think it's a teenage or adult thing...it is not, I was profoundly confused from the minute I was aware that didn't feel comfortable being 'he'...which was from about the age of 3 onwards.
I was going to pm you to say well done on being such a fantastic parent tho thought that the forum should hear more about this subject in general.

As long as your little bundle of joy knows that whatever happens regarding the rest of the world...ie school...teachers at school...everything else life will throw...

That you are still cool and offer unconditional love...

Then I totally raise my hat to you...

I don't mean to derail your thread Ed, tho If by posting this on a thread and making someones life a tinier bit more pleasant, and that saving a child half of the shit I went throu, I'd gladly derail a train.

Peace and Love and safe riding Everyone!
