Since the bicycle have lived up to it's purpose, who want to buy it? I'm thinking £1800 would be an acceptable amount for it.
Brother Jake?

I'm kind of thinking 'should I let Ed get away with his little joke for a while?' and I'm kind of thinking, like, 'no'.
He's joking, everybody.

Ha, it would fit me quite well, to be fair, but no, I shall pass.

That's Hufnagel's work.
In other news, completed a 1400k randonneur, bike worked exactly as it should, very pleased with it, only issue is the rear derailleur was busted and quickly fit a cheap one (hooray for friction) and truing the rear wheel.
The drivetrain is clean! even after 1400k, all i got was a bit of dust on the chain, but it still in it's original wax.
Let's just repost that photo on the new page...
Bravo Ed!! Inspiring, especially after someone started the PBP thread few days ago!

Well done on the London-Edinburgh ride. Enjoyed reading the journal. Glad you liked Cambridge (my hometown). What are these "hills" you speak of? There are a few slightly less than flat roads :-)
Hoping to get my tourer on some less ambitious, but equally fun rides. With only a single gear! -

Can't remember where exactly but they're within Barrington, Saffron Walden, Bishop Stortford, etc.

That'll be Chapel Hill then. A great hill.

Amazing ride there, Ed. Congratulations. The writeup brought back some memories.
I've ridden past, and stopped at, the Tibetan temple in Eskdalemuir when out touring. I thought the good folk of Peebles were pulling my leg, but no, there it was, one of the more surreal sights of the Scottish Borders.

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere yet as it was only uploaded yesterday but please see Scoble on Rapha.

Awesome.
Shirt wasn't purple thought.

Is his Scobbliness actually wearing any Waffa in that pic?
-
• #1117
In all fairness to Raffar, a lot of the pictures they post have no Rapha clothing in them.

None whatsoever, I was just riding around town in spring when it was taken.

They did manage to shoot you in front of a mural of yourself, which is a nice touch.

Riding round in spring, hanging to the left by the looks of it.

One of the only hills I managed to find while visiting my girlfriend in Sawston. I'd heard Cambridgeshire was pretty flat but didn't realise quite how flat it really is!

Just over 10,000km (10,023km to be precise) since new, I have to retired the original red tyres, picture show tyres at over 8,000km, it's now quite bald and starting to collect some debris that used to be pushed away by the thread;
Now installed the new Extra Legers tyres in black, look very weird on my bike.

So Ed you picked it up at the end of April last year, now it's February so you've had it 9 months...
I know you did LEL but what were the other 8600km?!
I'm intrigued.
About time, too.
