I am feeling very sad that this has not gone further
I managed to kill the thread last time round. Let's see if I can have the same success twice in a row.

You know what we should do.
We should test some electric bikes.
As in, try and get a whole load of them... and then do the bridges ride on them or GSIAD.

perfect for the very drunken rider gettting home from kew to central london after a bridges
probably catch a few winks while you are at it, as the bike whisks you to where you want to go -

Exactly!
Wouldn't even need to pedal.
If they could just combine this with that car tech that allowed cars to autopilot behind trucks... it would be perfect.

The GoCycle is going well, I use it as a kind of pub hearse now, newly efficient with its current Li-Ion battery, once I point it home its all I can do to hang on as it drags my unknowable husk from bar to bed, I sit atop its spinning wonder and look down as its hurried wheels dance the tarmac like two 20" wheels on a bicycle (which they are). I can't go back to peddling, not now, not now my legs have atrophied, now just useless and troublesomely long bags that dangle uselessly about my daily business.
Leg bags.

Wow.
