ignore the rest though. i might put my rear brake back on.
IMHO that looks dire, the housing looks too long, front and rear, the brakes would 'feel' better if the housing was shorter and a smoother angle,
^^ Wine bottle corks for bar ends are a nice look with cloth tape

Looks sweet! How comfortable is just cotton tape?
-
• #1019
fine with padded gloves, also fine if your saddle/bar drop is not mental
-
• #1020
I don't like padded gloves personally but my saddle to bar drop isn't insane so maybe I'll give it a go next time I need to wrap my bars. Has anyone tried an inner tube or something underneath for a bit of extra padding?
-
• #1022
I found short rides with cloth tape, a fair bit of drop and no gloves to be fine, never really did more than 15 miles at a time on it though.

^^i'm not much of a weight weenie! Any other downsides to inner tube? Cork tape sounds like a good idea too but doesn't it look a bit uneven in terms of width when wrapped?
