  • It needs a new skewer but is in good nick, perfect for that HHSB lo pro you're working on. A really nice light weight carbon wheel. Not 100% sure how much to ask for it, so let me know if I'm way off.
**Asking for £85, including postage from Bournemouth, £75 if you can pick up. £10 donated to forum if it sells (because I've been a bit of a dick and to apologise for that)

    **

let me know if you have any questions!

  • if the price is way off let me know, I'm just basing the price on other classifieds from here.

  • So cool, if only i had a bike for it.

  • wrong size and a tub :(

  • You could cover it in glass and use it as a sweet coffee table?

  • this wheel came from ebay cost him £83

  • uh oh.

  • I've been rumbled! I got over excited and didn't realise it wasn't a 700c, I thought I'd got a good deal and try and turn a mistake into some spare $$$, I agree that £145 might be a bit steep though, having asked around on here a bit, does £110 sound better? (genuinely not trying to rip anyone off)

  • ebay is that way >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • yeah, if nobody wants it on here I'll put it back on.

  • after admitting you're making a profit on it to the order of over 30% I highly doubt it will sell on here.

  • Well I reckon £110 is still a pretty good price, £83 was a really lucky bid. Admittedly this has made me look well shady, ha ha.

  • but your original price was 145, knowing that you'd paid 83. this forum isn't really the place to be looking for that sort of gains.

but yeah, 83 was a lucky bid! anyway, good luck.

  • Good point, I admit I might have been a bit optimistic (read greedy) with £145, but that's a price I came up with looking at what similar items have sold for on here in the past.

Anyway, £110 will now include the p+p, meaning you'll effectively get the wheel for £100, I want this wheel I can't use out of my tiny flat!

  • Even £110 is an absolute disgrace. Sell it for £83 at the very maximum, excluding postage. Don't try and mug people off because of your mistake. Well done longlong.

you're still making money off someone here, that's not how the classifieds work.

  • I'm really not trying to mug anyone off mate it cost me £93 all in including postage. Admittedly it might be a bit cheeky to ask for a bit more than I paid, but I think it's still a good price which I think would be hard to find anywhere else and if nobody wants to buy it at that price then that's fine, I'll put it back on eBay, I just thought I'd gauge interest here first.

  • you're still making money off someone here, that's not how the classifieds work.

Fair enough, I've explained my reasoning and I'm really not trying to cheat anyone or pull the wool over anyone's eyes. Ive been buying and selling on here for a while and I'm sure everyone I've dealt with will say that ive been nothing but fair or whatever. I'll put it back on eBay seeing as everyone is so against the idea of me trying to make a couple of quid. If any admins or anything want to close this thread that'd be great.

  • Okay. That's fine. But your moral compass is clearly pointing in the wrong direction. Your mistake, so sell it for what you paid. We aren't here to pay for your postage fees. If someone is going to buy it and collect, sell it for £83 tops. If you're posting, sell it for £93. If not, don't try and sell it here. Considering you donate to the forum, I didn't think you'd be trying to mug forum members off. Which you are, so please don't deny it.

Understood mate, you've made your point although I do resent you suggesting I'm trying to be in any way spiteful or trying to cheat anyone.

  • Thank you for taking my point on board. Not cheat as such, as you're being up front about what you're doing. Still not a very fair thing to do. I cannot understand your thinking behind trying to sell it for more than you paid. This isn't a business, it's not a money making venture, its a small community, so treat people like friends and family.

Even after saying this though you aren't going to put the price down to what you paid? If you are saying you are not being spiteful of ripping anyone off, then don't rip us off and put it down to £83...or else what you're saying is untrue.

  • Ah fuck it, you've sort of convinced me and I reeeaaalllly can't be bothered putting it back on eBay, £93 posted, £83 collected and to apologise for maybe being a bit greedy i'll donate an extra £10 to the forum if it sells on here.
