This frame could actually also work with a tight clearance 700c fork,
(it's at least worth simulating in phxtxshop and measuring the resulting angles)Unfortunately I've just sold a fork that would've been perfect for that.

Vintage Pursuit frame wih 700c fork messes up the geometry of the frame big time. Why to do it?

If you put 700c in the front on this frame you get a minced headset every week and an extremely high BB. The best option is a high angle stem - they look good on this frame.

bollocks, the difference between a 650c forks with high clearance and a 700c with tight clearance is not that much.
as said, you can measure the resulting angles on paper before actually building it - simples
but I agree - often it does not work (especially if the frame was actually designed for a tight 650c fork)

amazing frame. rear stays look like they have couplings or screw on the bb cluster heh
-

Thanks, people!
Still, i think this should stay with 650c in front. -

It could be a ~14lb build with a frame that light! Damn I change my mind...

I've just done the 700c conversion math out of interest, have a look here.
Old angles: 75.5°/75°, new angles 72.5°/72°

And what is your verdict?

I want this frame... I already have one Vitus, road 992 and I love it. This one is my size too. Damn it. Too expensive. Anybody needs a kidney?

My back screams no!

yet your soul screams yes!

And what is your verdict?
That it's a bit more than I thought, but please judge yourself if you think it's rideable or not - it might be.

according to seller's behavior here, i don't anticipate them to be a good quality person. Unless they of course explain themselves. Not sure if this has any effect on the quality of the sale transaction, but i always thought this forum was about being good to each other and promoting of the "forum spirit". So far the seller has failed to demonstrate such.
иди нахуй !
*does mean "go fuck" or "fuck off"?

it is similar to "fuck you" or "fuck off", depending on context, however significantly more rude

I think it's impossible to traslate it as "colorful" as it literally means in russian.
Anyway, sorry if i hurt you, scorch -

Is this beast still for sale?
-

Few potential buyers, but they should talk less and do more.
Do you want to visit me again and look at this beast?:))
I think Vitus will go to the ebay in a couple of days. No worries, will close thread then.
From my experience, I think this would fit someone 6 foot just right. If you're running pursuit bars it adds a bit of length over drops so not necessarily comparable to a 54cm traditional frame.
