Ta, 100,000 seems alot but am sure it's doable.
Back on topic, minicabs shouldn't be in the bus lanes.

4758 signatures so far, how many until something actually happens?
I'd suggest changing the petition's title to "Ban Addison Lee and bring the death penalty back, but mainly for gay immigrants pedophiles on Income Support who don't respect our armed forces".

Don't forget the gays and people on benefits.

Please specify "Poppy burners"... And post it on any BNP Addison Lee driver's wall... That would be an interesting conflict of interest.

Well that Jeremy Vine thing seemed to be a bit of a dud. Barely even got into the cycling issue. But at least it's being publicly discussed maybe?
Addison Lee guy seemed to be the usual arrogant car driver. -

Normal tax planning is what all small businesses do and low and average income individuals do. Tax avoidance is something that only the very rich do (ie those who can most afford to pay lots of tax would rather pay an already rich accountant a lot of money to avoid paying the government a bit more).
Frankly I find this classist BS.
To suggest that the line between tax planning and avoidance is driven by how rich you are or the size of your company merely highlights the chip on your shoulder.

It seems to me that this Addison Lee fracas is a classic example of what Occupy London was trying to highlight.
along this vein, does any one read new scientist? they have done a number of features on the science behind richer people being less and less generous with their money. The science itself confirms the common sense that if your life is easy you have less compassion for peoples lives who are hard and therefore give less. It is terrible when you compare this to conservative policies of lower tax for the rich.

Just got back from a meeting and discovered an email from BBC Today program in my inbox.
Now either this is for today, in which case I missed it... or it's for tomorrow, in which case a call first thing is fine.
I suspect it was for today though, given the name of the program. Did they get in touch with anyone? Was anything on the show?

Just seen Jeremy Hunt getting into a AL cab on Newsnight. That's a lot of evil in one people carrier sized space.

Randomly heard an interview with the geezer on R2 at lunchtime, they had a few decent arguments from various people (mostly black cab drivers) though didn't get all of it.
The more I hear about and from this guy, the more I have dislike him and his business practices. -
