He got in a break of four that took nearly a minute in the first stage of the Tour de l'Avenir.

There's a brief interview with a big picture of Tao in this week's Cycling Weekly. The main point is really that he's 'looking forward to being bottom of the pecking order'. Not much more substance to it than that, I regret to say, although that's a good quote. :)

Tao rode the U23 Worlds road race and arrived in the front group. I imagine he may have ridden for Jon Dibben, who came ninth.

He made the right decision racing with them for another year. Really bring him on as a rider.
