Anyone like to do a forum election poll?
I can't figure out how to do this -
• #78
Start a new thread and include a poll. Make the results secret.
-
• #79
can you set up second preference votes?
im voting Ken and Green. just want that clown boris out.

So tried to start thread. Ticked include poll box...
Just looked like a normal thread,
More help please -
• #81
Didn't it take you through the screen on selecting poll options?
Perhaps it's switched off, as David's changing so much at the moment? Check with him?

I heard that Jenny Jones and others were pissed off about the BNP being allowed to join one of those debates. Why? Dont they understand that by giving them the opportunity to air their opinions people get to see just how objectionable and stupid they are?
Put them on the platform, let them speak, and then pull everything they have to say apart. -

We all thought that would be the case with Boris Johnson and look where that got us

How will you vote in the London 2012 Mayoral and London Assembly elections? Poll results will not be displayed publicly, although the thread creator can see them. (I won't look at them, though, promise.)
Indicate your first preference vote and your second preference vote for Mayor, as well as your vote for London-wide London Assembly lists--it would become way too complicated to include voting for constituency candidates, too. :)

I just started to create a thread and the poll screen came up OK. I haven't gone further, as I was only testing it--perhaps try again? Or did you do it before and the poll didn't appear?

^^His ideas aren't ridiculous because he doesn't have any.

• #88
i vote for a poll.

• #89
In General?
-
• #90
I haven't created it yet--I didn't realise the thread would appear before I created the poll. That may have been David's mistake. I'll put a poll in now, bear with me for a moment.

On a Thursday?

In General?
I thought I was only testing it out, as I didn't realise the thread would appear before I'd finished creating the poll. So, yes, it's obviously in the wrong forum.

• #93
On a Thursday?
Hell yeah.

Here's a poll: would you let Oliver organise a piss up in a brewery?
-
• #95
that's a very taxing poll..
-
• #96
Second preference votes may be cast for a knees up in a nunnery.
-
• #97
Relax, it's suitably complicated. It reminds me of the first time I started a poll, which was completely ridiculous, as I was very new to the forum.
I've only included the four main parties. I'm happy to change that if people want me to.
-
• #98
Oh, and the poll will close just after the May 3rd elections--I've said after eight days from today, so it may close on May 4th or 5th.

Nice one Oliver.
