• Right. Had interest but nothing concrete yet. Can try to get this boxed up on Sunday in the event of anyone interested that would need shipping, will include this in price for UK, elsewhere it'll be at cost.... This is conditional on my lovely lady agreeing to wait in for a courier of course.

  • 600 great british pounds today only!

  • Incredibly hungover following weddiNg revels...

Looks like this beautiful beast will be accompanying me back over the high seas... Any interest get in touch but shipping will be necessary. Cheers folks

  • On boat back with sexy nago in the hold...
Surprised not to have had any concrete offers! lovely bike and thought it was a good price. pretty small window of time of course but withdrawing this from sale here atm-probably have more luck on a cross/mtb site or retrobike which is fair enough but had hoped for a quick local sale!

    thanks anyway though x

  • I think the Seat Tube has put people off on this so I'm putting this out for any offers.

Have looked into how much getting the seat tube professionally repaired would be by sending Dave Yates some hi-res images to ask what kind of repair would be possible and price, this is the reply:

    Hi

Thanks for your email. We should be able to repair the tube by brazing a patch over the cut/crack - we can only give a firm cost on inspecting the frame but an estimate would be £25. Attempting to match the paint using our system would not be cheap (approx £100) and we couldn't guarantee an exact match and your frame would have to be fuly stripped down, no dirt or grease reamaining.

    Regards
    Debbie

I can forward the original emails to whomever wishes. The paint matching around the area to be welded is expensive and I think could be done quite easily and cheaper by someone else, but that's how much the pro job at Yates is. I think it's quite a localised repair and could be done without too much damage to any of the intricate bits of paint.

I'm pretty thick so I'd just ride it as is with a very long seatpost and a wee St. Christopher medallion round my ballsack. But as it is, seems like a cheap repair and afterwards you can suckle on the teat of the mighty earthmother Nago like a boss.

In the event that anyone is interested in just F+F, or F+F plus headset/BB that can be done as in that case I'd be tempted to keep the groupset for my Gazelle.

Hope this helps and any interest/offers please get in touch.

    thanks

  • had some enquires about frameset. will do frame, fork, dura ace headset and bb for £220 posted.

  • frameset still for grabs...

  • Frameset £245 posted. last offer before i'll be sending it off to Mr Yates mesel'

Dura Ace Headset and BB are worth at least £50 on their own ppl, then you're talking a £25 fix and re-touching the blue paint around the seat tube collar. Not ideal i know but for a pimping ex-team cx frame...

  • i'm surprised you haven't put the whole bike on teh bay

  • Fucking hate Ebay and try to avoid giving them cash where possible... i also thought there would be enough interest on here. Might make sense to get it repaired myself and then do this though.

  • Sorry for posting in dead thread..
    But is still for sale?

  • Hello, sold sorry.
