It's my first Dun Run this year, and I think I might have over prepared. I even bought some padded bib shorts for the occasion (and general touring, I've told myself).
I'm taking:
The jersey on my back, plus a merino base layer for cold,
A second, full sleeved, jersey,
Waterproof,
Couple of tubes,
Tyre levers,
Pump,
Multi tool, (allen key and one of those Flat cycle tools for my friends who may be non QR/Allen bolted), chain tool,
A selection of Gels and powders in 2 Water bottles,
Money,
Batteries for the Cree that should arrive from China by then,
Couple of powerlinks?
All in a big Carradice

Needless to say, geared.
How many gels/powders is a good idea? I'll also take some bananas and sarnies and that. I LOVE MY CARRADICE.
