Afraid so chap. Gutted.
Physio hasn't told me to keep off cycling completely but hasn't recommended that I ride that kind of distance whilst I'm still building up my strength again.
Don't get me wrong I could ride it but I'd be doing 10mph and spinning a high gear and I wouldn't be able to walk afterwards. -

Hi all,
Anyone know if there are still any coach tickets going spare? I've not cycled for 3 weeks so keen for peace of mind that a coach will be waiting! x2 ideally if anyone knows...
Cheers!

Please can everyone stop talking about gpx/garmin. It's fucking boring. There is a route sheet available for £1, which probably goes towards some relatively good cause. It includes relevant details, such as the route, and the location of the feed stop.
AMEN to that.
only one person needs to know where they are going at that person is the one at the very front.
you don't look at the map AT ALL. just enjoy the ride and don't get too sucked up in the planning.
me and about 20 others took a little detour last year but soon realised and went back on track. no big deal.
oh and somehow i missed the food stop, no idea how

so, I'm now wondering when and where EdScoble and Sparky are meeting for food before they head over to London Fields, as I was pondering joining them, and this lack of knowledge appears to be the biggest barrier to that...

I haven't heard anything on that either, so if you hear, let me know. Still up for it. Otherwise, you want to come over to mine and grab a coffee before heading over? I need to pick up some people at Liverpool Street at 5.30pm, so will be leaving mine at 4.45pm or so...

Yeah I was going to propose the question, anyone fancy some dinner before hand, or a take away to eat in London Fields?

Scoble mentioned it, and I was up for it, but I've heard nothing. I also don't want to take a lock, just for the sake of dinner, and carry it 150 miles. So maybe food in the park would be good.

Hello - important message about coach ticket exchanges:
After a week of nonstop texts, pms, calls and emails, please be aware that from 8pm tonight I will no longer be able to play ticket swapsies so if you do manage to buy or exchange coach tickets you will need to give us the name of the person who paid for the ticket when collecting from the park between 6.30 and 8.30pm.
It is that name which will be on our ticket spreadsheet.
Thanks!

Yeah I got all excited and thought some cheap Vietnamese noodles from Shoreditch would be great but I don't fancy sitting in there in my lycra, and then I realised I wouldn't have a lock either.

I will be leaving Wimbledon at 6:30, detail are a bit sketchy but I'll know by midday tomorrow.
There's a Dosa place with quick serving and cheap meal (£2.50 average for a Dosa) near Tooting Bec station.
Possibly dining at 6:45 and be in Londonfield by 7:45

I'm out then I think. I need to pick up some Norwich people at Liverpool Street at 5.30pm. Would be good to meet up with people at London Fields though, I'm sure I've never met most of you. I'll be on a grey Donhou with a bunch of Velo Club Norwich people (red and black team kit - I won't be in it, just them).

Yeah I'm not coming to Tooting Bec from Romford to go to London Fields. Thanks though.

I've an extra coach ticket, going at £20 (plus a forum donation?)
and possibly another one but will know tomorrow about that one. -

I can't work their route sheet and I only ever use route directions.
I've failed to do my own in any kind of timely fashion again though
This person is the QUEEN of chapnavand she cant, we all cant.
