For those riders hoping to catch a train home on Sunday, I've been corresponding with Greater Anglia about extra capacity. Area manager James has just sent me this helpful info and timetable which is too big to upload here so I send it here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/southwarkcyclists/message/13007
If anyone does have questions it's probably best to post them here as the answers may be valuable to others....

To: alex@southwarkcyclists.org.ukAlex,
sorry for the delay. Timetable attached.
The 0943 Halesworth - Ipswich is really the one we want people to aim
for. This is specifically for your cyclists. The 0805 from Lowestoft
will also be doubled in length.I cannot accurately estimate how many cycles we can fit on each train
but the special train should be able to accomodate around 40 and the
other trains perhaps 20-30.What we would like to advise everyone to do is to come to Darsham
where we can organise you better. Cycling forward to Saxmundham causes
us problems as we may have already filled the train at Darsham so you
wont be able to get on.Any further questions please give me a call.
Regards,James Steward

Great work, Alex. Here's hoping that they'll think it's worth their while and that they will expand the provision even further in future years.

Pending Laner taking one both tickets have now been spoken for.

If Laner doesn't want the other I'll happily take it for a mate...

well done alex, that's a great result. Rolling stock is a bitch to manoeuvre so this is most certainly the dun run hitting the big time :)
see you out there.

Hey Lovejoy23, Just heard on the facebook group that there is an unofficial "ticket office" (note the quotation marks!) near the pub on the park that may have some tickets from people who can no longer make it on the day.... Worth a try anyway... Good luck.
this is our make-shift office where we issue paid for bus tickets....we will have spares if people don't show up...

inevitable question...
who's repping HHSB and riding with silly front wheels?

my fenix light has arrived.. it weighs a ton.. it's a fricking £80 torch is was it is.. with two duracell powercell D batteries ffs and a flimsy rubber/velcro clamp.. oh well the girls will make good use of it lighting up the night sky looking for UFOs above the lake district this summer..
^^ You've paid for peace-of-mind though almac68. The premium over buying from china will be worth it if there are any warranty issues (which are quite common in my experience).
They are made in China though and distributed in UK. I bought two, one broke. They are very bright, but will only last a few hours at full setting. Twist the end to shift to a lower setting. I used one on last years DD. Wish I had bought Exposure instead :[

Too late now but you can just buy 3 of the Chinese lights (for the same money) and mend/bodge/bin those which fail or develop faults.

^ now you tell me!

I can no longer make it, so have a coach ticket for sale for 20 pounds... PM me if you want it, first come first served!

hey all. I'm going to be driving up to Dunwich on Friday night, so that I have my own wheels to get back. If anyone wants me to take their towel and budgie smugglers (for a suggested donation of £1 to LCEF) so that you can have a swim on the beach, then meet me at 2100h on Friday at LMNH.
Don't give me anything valuable as I will not take responsibility for your stuff :)

I didn't put one on the seat tube because it would be right where my mudguard attaches.
