Interesting, I thought this happened at my office (using Dell Sonicwall). Lfgss shows up as HTTPS but with a red line through it and the certificate being the firm, not lfgss. Or is that something different?

Anyone know where I can find Mouse Class Driver files? Or maybe Windows NT installation media? Ooh will msdn still do NT shit? Let me check.
-
• #3030
Nope, I don't have anything NT in my MSDN.
Anyone got Mouse Class Driver files?

Yeah, I'd spotted that. Spoke to them on the phone and they couldn't guarantee one of the newer cards when it's built next week so they're swapping for the MSI
-
• #3036
Wait a minute, you're paying someone to build it for you?

Especially when it comes to cable management etc...

Same thing.
Cert pinning is currently experimental, so right now so long as a cert is present it will function with perhaps a warning.

Quite fancy the look of the skull canyon NUC.
Could even hook it up to a thunderbolt 3 GPU... -
• #3041
That does look hot.
With RAM and a SSD you are looking at ~800€ though.still cheaper than a lot of other stuff.

Numpty question: to use an IP phone to make and recieve calls to regular landlines and mobiles do you need to pay for some sort of service?
-
• #3043
Maybe - it depends on which VoIP service. Generally, yes. Skype to Skype is free, for example but costs when you "dial out" to a normal phone.
-
• #3044
Ok, ta, probably not worth it for me then, I'll just get a call package added on to my broadbands.

Need some advice, mrs sacred messed around with her windows 10 pic settings, she turned off a load of permissions (not sure what exactly) but now pc screen isn't coming on. It's switched on, but nothing on the screen, been like this for about 40mins... what's my next move?

Try plugging the cable in to a different port on your computer, it may kick into an auto setting.

Just added in 2 old HDs from my work to my machine. Want to use them as backup space I think they're format into 2 partitions each at the moment. Is it possible to format them back in to one partition to maximize space and make things a bit neater? It's disk 2 & 3 at the moment they show up in windows as D ,G , F and H. I haven't tried yet, but it only seems possible to format the individual partitions at the moment.

This is what I use on Windows https://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html
If it's particularly awkward then I resort to this http://gparted.org/
Surface Book was just updated, but it's very pricey.
I've got a Surface Pro 3 that I'm considering moving on (pondering going Mac when they release new stuff tomorrow).
Core i5, 256GB SSD, 8GB RAM. Very capable thing indeed.
