• Anyone got a tarp we can use to build a makeshift awning?

  • i thinks theres gazebos under the orwell we could bring

  • Yep, going to try and get as many gazebos as I can carry. If someone else wants to help, even better.

  • Just do it in Cambridge yeah?

  • Just do it in Cambridge yeah?

Yeah, sure. You can do it in Cambridge, Josh.

  • Just do it in Cambridge yeah?

If you can lay some tarmac down before Sunday, then sure.

  • They've got that new toilet, so it shouldn't be a problem.

  • Just do it in Cambridge yeah?

rather do it in the rain least there will be grip! If a little damp

Meeting at the orwell on sat at 3pm H-bomb. Pint of G followed by filling up bills cargo bike and jono's trailer with all the shizzle we need. See you there?

  • Cool, I'll be there.

  • Is there any housing available for this? mine's just fallen through

  • We aren't doing any official housing, but maybe some kind Londoner can help you out. I've already got people staying i'm afraid.

  • Zsofia from Hungary is traveling up with me tomorrow as well but we haven't any accomodation for her, can anyone put her up? You may remember her from Hell's Belles.

  • goals (Jono)

Orwell: goal, bibs, the flags, the ice-box, clipboards, LPC banners (Jono)

wood (Bill, Louis, Ryan) - coming Saturday a.m. to Ryan's, then Bill collects Sun very, very fucking a.m. with cargo bike, returns to Ryan's Sunday p.m., collected Mon or Tues, return to?

    screws (length?)

    multiple cordless drills - Joe

    zip-ties - Bill, Chukker

    gaffer tape - Bill, Chukker

    marker pens

    6 X balls - density not yet determined - H Bomb

    1 extra ice-box

    tape-measure

    decent chalk

netting, whistles & stopwatches, line paint, score-cards - Bill

    rules & announcement - Joe > Badger

    brooms & sweeping - Badger

We still need marker pens, decent quality chalk (not kids stuff), zip-ties, wood screws (no idea what length, perhaps someone could phone Ryan after 12, as he will have the wood in front of him, and will be able to tell us what length).

The screws are REALLY important, as are cordless drills. Without these, we won't be able to board the court, and the playing experience won't be nearly as nice.

Do the courts need more sweeping today? It's likely to be dry this afternoon, so will be less of a chore, than tomorrow morning when it'll be chucking it down.

Can all teams please be prepared to cough over £5, maybe £6 per team to cover costs? Thanks.

Reminder that all teams should be at Newington for 8 for court prep, so that we can start before 9.

  • The courts do need a sweep.

And yes, before it rains would be best.

  • what time we starting tomorrow?

  • Chukker, please don't forget to bring the screwdriver bits.... I'll PM nag you too just in case.

  • Turd, get there for 8, start before 9

  • I have a box of 5x55mm wood screws. They might be too long?

Do we still need a tarp? I have a bigass tarp.

  • Joe, make sure your batteries are charged up!

We need another cordless drill? Anyone? Shinscar has one ...

Wouldn't hurt, even if it's just to give some shelter to refs, or whatever.

  • I also have 40mm wood screws. Don't really want to bring both boxes. Is it just for boards to cover the openings behind the goals? How thick are the boards we need to screw on?

  • Looking like solid light rain tomorrow, could be worse:

A wet start with any heavy overnight rain soon clearing away northwards. The rest of the day will stay cloudy with some mainly light rain at times. Feeling cool.

  • Ryan has suggested 3 inch screws. Bill says 100 of them. I'll get these this afternoon unless I'm told otherwise on this thread...
