The internet is giving conflicting information; is it possible (& easy) to convert front heds to rear, or can you only do it the other way round?

Double HED3. Do it. I might have to take your bike off of your hands for a little bit.
This would look sick on my HHSB! I am so tempted!

I should say that it is in a great condition and just awesome in general. I replaced the bearing too so its silky smooth.
Pics will be up later today. Just trying to find my card reader.
Also I have decided that I will post this.

Pre-2006ish HED trispokes we identical in manufacture for front and rear, with the rear being for a screw on freewheel rather than slide on cassette. These older wheels can be run as front or rear by simply swapping the axle out for a front or rear road/track. It is worth noting that the rear "track adapter" is simply a screw on block that allows the fitment of a track cog and lockring onto the thread in the wheel hub. Pretty pointless as the entire adapter can unscrew (cog, lockring and all) but fine for track use i suppose which is where they must be coming from.
As for later trispokes i believe it is not so easy to convert, but may be wrong as i've only ever had dealings with the older ones.

Got this, but no wheels and no chain set (will go for 10 spd Shimano compatible). Now I need something for the Brighton ride.

But then I'd be without a bike!

what?

I mean, I'd be left with a balancing Colnago bike without a groupset and no other bike. At least it would be shiny shiny.
-
• #42
Can this idiotic spell checker in Lion OSX stop changing groupset to group set?
-
• #43
why did you buy the colnago?
-
• #44
Because it's more worth it for me in the long run to upgrade it with decent components, than to get a complete Giant/Trek with Sora for the same price and be sick with it by next Monday.

If you buy this I'll buy the Corima. You don't need two silly front wheels.
Do it, do it, do it!
