If it was me I would definitely be tempted to chop the bars, but the saddle-bar drop looks fairly big and based on my experience so far with Les I'd say it's worth making sure you've got a good position before you do anything irreversible.

saddle is fizik pave cx wingflex and I'd say it stays - bought from tomsvoboda for the build

I personally hate contis. Always have. For MTBing or on the road. Hate the way they ride, grip, skid...

And i've had more punctures with contis than any other tyre.

For me, I like armadillos (cheap, last for ages), randonneurs (cheap, fun to skid), or marathon plus's's (BLUE IN THE MIDDLE!)

But my skidding days are behind me, don't do much skidding anymore. Currently riding some kind of michelin pro race on the back, its great! grippy, long lasting, no punctures...

went for a gator on the front.

will save the other twinrail for when I skid through the back.

48x18 = 4 skid patches

48x17 = 17 skid patches

....

they sit happily on the Gran Compe fix/fix hub. need another DA lockring and then I might run a smaller cog on the other side..

Or get a 49t chain ring for 18 and 17

or a 47...
