Well good for you.
I must have registered no more than 11.00.05. This system is absolute bullshit. And that goes for Rouen too.
Not enough tournaments, and too many teams these days.
Personally if I was organising a tournament like that I'd make half the spots invite, and half first-come-first-serve. I know Karlsruhe have done that for a while.

A few players playin on 2 teams that are registered. Also the bisons are in twice...???
Seems like a flawed system to me. I missed the classic list system, first to write on the list gets in...

That's exactly what it is but a lot quicker, non?
-
• #955
Yeah it's the quickness that is annoying. I get more stressed regestering for a tournament than actually playing in it...

Except both fairer and less transparent...

QUICK everyone do something nice for John H so he'll invite you to his tournaments. why not just sell the spots, highest bidder
Sucks to be left out...but it's the fairest way

That's not what I meant. There could be various reasons for making it partial invite, local teams, past winners, furthest travelled, etc...
I don't think the first-come-first-serve is the fairest way anymore, it's become "nerds win", as for some tournaments these days if you don't sit in front of a computer all day you have no chance, and even then only if you know the right tricks and tools.
And I say that as a computer nerd.

Badger, Dodi and Alejandro win Torino.
Won all their games on the first day, lost to Analfabeta in the last 4 of the winners bracket, but beat them in the losers final, before beating Moteur Fuckers twice.
Well done guys.

I'm thinking about going to Nantes. I missed out on Bristol and the last French tourney was super fun. If anyone wants to go to, send me a message...

That was a pretty horrible moment, he flipped right over, and fucked his wrist up, had it packed in ice the rest of the weekend, and couldn't play.
