Vicenza about to bid for the Euros.

4 courts, in two 2 locations, with 3 different sizes. Doesn't sound perfect, but it's all that's out there right now, and could be good in other ways.

I've never been to Italy, tempted...

Vincenza.. well.. love those guys, but 4 courts in two 2 locations with 3 different sizes... as John said, not ideal.

Vicenza is awesome and Italian tournaments run as Swiss clocks. Tobia tiger and the crew have a huge experience in hosting now and I'm sure they will provide something great. Last Italian I went was polorama on 2 courts in 2 locations and it worked decently.
Also different court size matter but if boards are good, surface nice and size decent I won't give a fuck, we play on different courts everytime, I'm pretty sure that there is not more than 2 or 3 usual pick up court in Europe who are I the 40x20 and 1m25 high standards. So every time we travel we play on different courts.

How many games would be involved in running a tournament to a similar sort of format as the world cup? Maybe 4 regional groups of 8 teams instead of 8 groups of 4 that lead to a final tournament or something, could be a fun idea for next year.

             Having inspected the bids, and based on our survey, NAH would  like to endorse the Montpellier bid for 2014, with one proviso, we  would prefer a September date, to allow us to complete our NAH in a  timetable that works best for players in North America.

We would also welcome a bid from Timaru for 2015, with some changes to the courts.
