I've never been to Perth but I have a lot of friends who used to live there and now live in VIC, QLD, NSW or London and never wanna go back...

Hooks were very very good as usual. Call me Daddy were excellent too, and of course l'Equipe, still amazing to watch. The elected MVP was Maks from Hooks, well deserved. My vote for MVP was Clément from CHL (Iron Ponies Clément), for a move he did twice: alone in goal, two teammates down, 3 Call me Daddies charging towards him (not a pleasant sight), he hopped out of his goalie position at the last second, sideways towards them, which confused them and worked perfectly. Clever and fearless!

Also this proved that there was still clearly a first and second division in tournaments. Hooks, Call Me Daddy, L'Equipe (and to a certain extent CHL) were a notch above the rest, almost impossible to beat by lesser teams. On saturday, Hooks won all their games, conceding only two goals!

I had to take the crash pad off the heel of my gloves (where their carbon is) because it was in the way of the mallet.
I'm sure this one will be fine, and hope they come in small.

I tried some on at Polo Retreat, they feel really nice. None of the loss of dexterity that you get from hockey gloves, especially not in the thumb, and a really nice robust underside.
