Anything, as long as it's fixed.

Good point about Ti. But even though it won't rust I don't want it to get wet. The electronic shifting might let me down on one of the HC sections.

I need to know so that I can park my Cayenne
This is St Mary Cray, my friend.
We used to meet on the railway bridge, but not nowadays as there are too many peeps. The car park up 'Railway Approach' is the spot.
If anyone is early I'll be practicing trackstands on an orange fixie. The Olmo is dismantled and the Colnago has a headset issue.

Today has been a day for headset issues. I spent half an hour on my knees with a torch scouring the cracks in the hallway floorboards for a single tiny ball bearing (found it!), which was particularly irritating due to the awful, cheap, non-polished, non-spherical quality of the fucking thing. Worst. Generic. Free with frame. Headset. Ever. Good job I'm not riding that bike tonight (if at all*).

Henri Desgrange says he's cool with me using variable gears. He is only sayin that cos I is old.

maybe I should come clean and admit I'll be riding with one gear, one cotton duck saddlebag and one mudflap
but I will defend to the death your right to consider me a berk (as Voltaire didn't say)

Unless anyone else needs a spare light, I'll be leaving my Hope 1 at home.

Shocking list of bedwetters and sadly after all the favours asked I'm out to. As I've had to leave work sick, however due to the nature of which I'm backing out on a dirty protest rather than a loose bladder.
I'll try to make another one at some point.

Met Office says "Showers generally dying out during the evening to leave a largely dry night".

No rain tonight I reckon...looking a tad cold though. Sam's leading this one - may be a few small changes to the traditional route apparently, so best not to be off the front relying on garmins. There's a few tricky turns en route so we'll regroup after the climbs and try and keep things together as usual. Looks like a few riding out - reckon we'll get rolling about 8, so if you're running a few mins late give someone a buzz - 07939 520953 is me.

I have ten confirmed, with four possibles for the record.
Take the Ti for TNRC duties, surely?
