  • ^this.

I'm well up for a little spin then a long wind down. Been a hell of day today...

  • FYI we're going to meet at 7 and aim to get the 7.18 service. Anyone rolling out should aim to be at the station by 1955 (the time not the date).

  • Boo!

  • Do you mean 1855?

  • I'm applying the "who wants to eat?" rule.

  • food, where

  • oh. yep. those sheets are damp.
Out. I'll explain in person, because this is mind bending.

  • How you going to explain in person if you are out? That is mind bending.

  • change of plan.
back in, catch you all at the station.

  • Some cunt has put a krypto New York round my bike.

    Bastards

  • I'm still in, but I might not make it to Chingford in time to head out with the list.

If I don't see anyone at the station then have a good run and I might see you on route.

    Cheers,

  • Out; might see you later.

  • ok, so it's now 22.25

    guess i'm out

  • Beautiful ride, beautiful people, beautiful beers.

  • Thanks everyone for coming out, it was a great lil ride and some excellent beers were sampled. Hope to see you at the hell of ashdown or harp hilly hundred next year. Oh and of course the rapha festive 500 on strava... What? You don't follow my strava!?

  • Boo!

  • i enjoyed the fact the totally not riding club rolled mainly to the pub.

that was a great wee blast and was good to see all the faces.

thanks to everybody that led at some point.

    i'm already at work :(

  • Oh this was yesterday then :)

I am at work too! Rubbish.

  • My not seeing anyone last night was due to a mixture of:

    • Arriving at Chingford a few minutes late.
    • An early navigational blunder (I eventually found my bearings after starting the ride in reverse).
    • Nobody else actually riding the route?

Good fun though, you shoulda been there. I tuned into a Radio 4 program about diabetes, and my legs got flecked with horse poo.

  • That is a damn shame Friday. We held up a few miles in and waited for Alex. You probably left just before he arrived. So close!

Glad Radio 4 came good for you.

  • Result!

I think we might have been a bit over prompt leaving Chingford.

The reverse route thing is a little strange, Zanda did the route in reverse 'till he found us. Were you following the route Ben posted? I think he reverses them all deliberately to throw the badgers off the scent, or perhaps he rides them in reverse on his training runs, I wouldn't know as, surprisingly, I don't follow him on strava.

  • Following Ben and his GPs is never a good idea.
