@vrodri04 i've got a 20 tooth diamondback freewheel which might suit your bike. You might also want a smaller chainring, but you'll have to get that from someone else.
i got it for £7 and that's what i'm asking for. (it's still in its packaging.)

With a 20t rear you'll want no more than 32 at the front for polo.

I've seen how slowly you accelerate Scott, 1.5:1 ftw. Gear up after you get good, not before.

Dangly bits FTW!

Too slack for polo manoeuvres.

Nah, that bike is awesome, there's a knackered one in my brothers house.

What needs doing to Victors bike? Seatpost sorting? Anything else? I'd also like that freewheel if it's no good for Victor's.
-
• #614
i can drop it off at yours tomorrow evening (8ish) if you'll be faffing with his bike. see if he wants it or take it yourself.

Looked like seatpost and BB were the two big ones. I'm really not sure if you'll be able to save the seatpost as it looks like the bonded clamp is loose. I'm wondering if it's the wrong size and that's why it stuck. Cranks are fairly loose, might get away with a tighten but BB questionable, it's an old cup job so service possible. I think Adam mentioned having some cartridge ones in his parts bin if needed.

Cool, I'm free tomorrow morning or Thursday to fix shit.
-
• #617
I've got a bag of BB's I was gonna give you to sort Victors bike with... When's the best time to get them to you? I could drop them round post work tonight? Or if your in town today for any reason you can swing by my work for them....

ey salman if it works on my wheel and would be better to ride softer sure! My actual relation back small gear - front big gear makes me be very slow to accelerate from stop.
Anyone can send me a private message with robs number? he said me yesterday if I can go at 10.30 to his house. I have replied now but not sure if he has read it.

I got it, come round

That was one fucking stuck seatpost, needed about a litre of gt85, a vice, some swearing, fire and a hammer. I'll be in town later for a beer with my brother but is a bit late now.
The 20t rear would be perfect for it although the freewheel that's on there will be a bitch to remove as the axles been spaced out a bit so the tool won't fit without removing bits off it. I'll bring stuff to polo tomorrow to have a go. -
• #621
Nce one rob...!!! do you still have the bike..? i could give you bb's later or should i bring my bb's to powerhaus on thurs and do a transplant there?
-
• #622
He just rode off into the
sunsetdrizzle with it. We can try at powerhouse, but it'll be difficult to get the driveside of the BB out without a correct tool or vice and I ain't got that tool. Might have to leave it wobbly until after Saturday. If we can get the bigger freewheel on then that'll probably do for now. -
• #623
nice work rob!

• #624
what is the drive side? pin tool?
