I have a mallet for Viktor and a seat tube clamp for Tum, will bring to polo. No elders?? Who has keys?
-
• #1078
Tum - That seat clamp is free if you want it. If not then throw it into the polo collective next time somebody needs one. I thought it was too big but it might well be smaller than I thought. Try it.
YoungWill - I chucked the SS spacer things at Nate, figured you'd see him as being a worthy recipient.
Rob - Still got your 661 Knee pads. Maybe pick up along with that tyre for Salman if you're passing on the way to polo?
I had Fracture clinic this morning. Good news is my Schapoid is not broken, it was hard to tell with all the scar tissue from the previous efforts apparently. The bad news is that the chip in my elbow is actually a fracture and I managed to break the bone next to my scaphoid in my wrist. At least two months before I'm going to be able to put any weight on it but at least I don't need the Ti bolt kit just yet.

We've got a party meeting, I can drop of my keys on the way, but that probably won't be until after 1800

• #1080
Ow! Still gonna be at the party though yeah?

@Chris - Yea cool, glad they've gone to some use at least, hope your broken bits are doing ok man, hang in there!
Considering making some straps for my fixie/polobike in lieu of no SPDs or cleets, what sort of material are the straps some of you guys made out of? Is it just cordura and what would I be asking for in Abakhans if I was to buy some?
Will probably be getting some fabric/velcro/thread in the next two days and whipping them up, unless anyone has some excess of those things they're willing to sell so I don't have to faff around with opening shop times by getting out of work early?
Cheers, hope to see you all Friday, probs not Thursday as I'll be knackered after work!

do you have access to an industrial sewing machine? the standard variety really wont cut it. ask ste.

• #1083
Not industrial but it's coped pretty well with the thick leather I've been sewing recently, if it comes to it I can handstitch them with toughasfuck thread.
Are they just made out of the broad webbing stuff with velcro on em? It's just occurred to me that that might just be what they're made out of....

I have complicated morals, we also found out I'd fuck an animal but not eat it. Best to ignore most things that I say or type or carve into the flesh of foes.
Nate, I'll come to your house but I'm going to stand on the other side of the road.

hey, iv made a few sets, there 45mm webbing and 25mm webbing, same for the velcro too, you can get everything from aberkahns upstairs bit,
heres a shit guide, I wouldnt make them like (splitting the 45mm webbing) this but it gives you an idea at least and sew everything twice with nylon sail thread
