It?? Show the girl some respect! She's called BOBBie. Her previous partner abused her badly before casting her aside for a younger model. She suffered from rejection for some time and it was only at the hands of a kind a caring man that she regained her confidence and poise.

She keeps trying to persuade me that I should give her another chance to return the love I've shown her. She knows she'll never be able to repay the financial costs I've incurred in helping her rebuild her life. We had quite a heated exchange last night that left us both in tears. It's hard watching the bike you love weeping chain lube as you tell her the relationship is over. I will miss the old girl, but she needs a regular ride and I'm just not going to be able to satisfy her needs for quite some time to come.

At the end of the day she understands that my situation has changed and that I need some time alone to decide just what it is that I'm looking for in my relationships.

I just checked my frame it didnt have a '' thing to lock seat post '' I dont know wht it call ; Can I find here ? or Harry hall

ahh you mean the seatpostlockthing! someone may have a spare
you need to find out what size you need, measured by diameter.

I have a vernier caliper we can use to measure the tube if you need a "round the outside" seatpost clamp, or does your frame have the tabs to put a bolt through?

It's a 30mm seat clamp on the plug. I might have one that will fit, I'll have a dig in the parts bin.

I have an unused 30mm clamp here, bought the wrong size... £2.50
