is that actually the primary school...? or is it a sports centre attached to it....? either way looks awesome, middle court might be a bit difficult to referee tho..

• #8789
centre court = drinking/shouting/watching court

• #8790
its part of the primary school but they have hired it out in the past so its a possiblity just need someone to speak to them.

no edinburgh????? :(
Not seen the date for Edinburgh yet - when?
Looking better for Cambridge though - will be in the good books after escorting Jo to Take That the night before (just excuse the pink cowboy hat)...
London Open a definite.
'Kings of Manchester' invitational August 13th plus Erectus BBQ - more anon.
Working on the Copenhagen tourney - once they give an actual date. This would be the final (sniff) Erectus tourney with Alex.

Had a look at the courts - set up is like Brighton - a low fence between two courts of a slightly smaller size than PH. Surface is obviously new and looks very smooth, however they both slope down towards each of the goal ends, more so than any other court I can think of. Probably just on the right side of acceptable for a tourney - but we'd have to expect moans... ;-)
The other noticeable factor is that the area (Seymour Park) is very busy - it has an astroturf football pitch alongside and various other 'amusements'. Not a court for a casual game methinks - but maybe bookable if the Sports Barn operates the running of these courts. Someone else can check that via phone/online.
the site for the center has them listed so i'd assume there in there controll but no info on if there bookable, i'd assume they are though.

looks really really good
thats pretty much perfect no? the goals might be wide but nothing a bit of wood can't fix.
could it even be a new court in general? ok maybe little the wrong side of town but then if we want more players we can't all live near the courts

~~Last minute polo refugee needs a couch/floor for TONIGHT in Manchester.
Will be in town for the day to meet a group of friends (non-polo related) but left it too late to book any accomodation hence would greatly appreciate the help!~~ Sorted :)
