  • Why I'm living in f...... Nantwich? I would like play every day with you guys, but it's too far to drive every day. I see you on thursday.

  • i cant play tonight but woody and nesbit played at power house last night and the lights were on

  • shall we try powerhaus tonight then?

  • may as well.. does that mean start earlier too..? (be good to)

  • none of the car parks can compete with powerhouse, so yeah definitely

@adam: i can be out whenever, when were you thinking?

  • i could meet peeps at powerhaus for 6:30

  • Just a heads up for a possible alternative venue for future consideration?
There is a fenced in multi sport court at Swinton Grove Park, just off Plymouth Grove, right next to Elizabeth Gaskell House. It's not too far from the aquatic centre area. As the weather improves it may have more local kids on it. Don't think it's lit / floodlit.

  • actually i might not be much earlier than 6.30.. just about to go into a meeting (that WILL run late) and i still need to go get bike n mallet... i'll text you if i can get out earlier...

  • i could meet peeps at powerhaus for 6:30

    cool, see you there

  • Okay - I'll go to PH for 6.30.

dosn't look floodlit, but just down the road i spied this

2-3 courts, not floodlit but if we get more people due to nice weather means two games at once right? or at least game and knockarounds

  • oh and i cycled past the other week, prob too small but the savvy army on grovesnor street

flootlit and caged with viewing aera no holes in fence it seems

Me n nesbit played atPH the next day, i got it

  • lights were on at powerhaus last night! We had a good little training session, even invented a new training game! Watch this space.

    Farewell tuesday ncp!!

  • Adam, Neil, Mark and Chan devised four pretty good games for 3 or 4 players last night, here's a summary:

'Triangulation' - 3 cones, 3 players, attack others in trendy 3D (no glasses required) and defend your cone to the death. First to lose five points is out. Objective: fast change from attack to defence; pressure play

'2 x 4' for 4 players and their cones - as above, but in the fourth dimension

'Cone Zone' or 'Clone Zone' if Chan's playing. 2 on 2 match up shooting at single cone goals at other end. Simple but effective. Objective: Passing and accurate shooting

'Double Shot' - 2 goals = 1 goal if you score from outside the D (1 goal = 1 goal if you score within the D). 2 on 2 players into half sized goals - first to 10. Objective: shooting drill
