What time we playing sun?..... I've got tickets to watch the match with free booze on sun...

seeing as we have all been talking about how Manchester Bike Polo needs a one stop, defining presence on the net to help encourage others to join, I think we should follow the example of London and set up the MHBPA (Manchester Hardcourt Bike Polo Association). Maybe its a bit formal but it would be better than all the random facebook pages/webpages that have sprung up which could be deleted. We could use the LHBPA web template and put a link to the twitter page that ste set up, the Manchester part of lfgss and a facebook page.

This would also be a good, readymade place to link people to when we host tourneys and might be a good way to show the council that we are a serious presence in manchester if we are looking to get them to sort out the whitworth court etc....

merch such as patches, t-shirts etc could be sold to fund it and advertise it or we could all chip in...

Me and Mirek had a chat with Lewis about this after kids polo today. Lets just do it and elect Neil as president. That man knows how to get shit done. Everyone cool with that?

Just for the record i suggested this ages ago and everyone thought it was a shit idea.

Loads of people wanna watch the footy first tomorrow, so can we play after that? Also, why dont the brum people come to manc on that sunday, because it's that fixie skidder thing at cord that night. Would be a good day/night out for 'em. The last time a few of us made the effort to go to leeds only josh turned up. Just saying like...

just checked the thread and there are loadsa people up for brum on 4th:

"we're expecting 6-9 from cambridge, probably get about 5-10 of us from brum, plus however many of you lot, should make a great day."

@chan - this Brum thing was decided well in advance and cause its in between us and cambridge, it means that the cambridge lot will come aswell -its a proper task to go camb-manc and then back agin on the same day. Anyway, surely polo comes before fixie posing outside Cord....? come on

im sure we all have some talents to contribute, like the arty ones of us can design stuff like tshirts n spoke cards etc, a mallet building workshop for begginers and a bit of photography, maybe some vids too
