  • suggestion of earlier and outside. 2 oclock, either manley or chorlton? anyone got any opinions? weather forecast looks good.

  • sounds good (Y). Chorlton.

  • okee doke. 2 at chorlton it is.

  • Lovin' the great outdoors today... roll on summer!

  • does anyone want to have a knockabout at whitworth tomorrow or on tuesday if its sunny?

  • Do you want to go and see what kind of state it's in...? might still be slippy.. think we'll probably need to give it a good clean, scrub, bleach to get rid of all the gunk...

does anyone want to have a knockabout at whitworth tomorrow or on tuesday if its sunny?

  • i'm not workin tomorow if anyoneelse is free and fancies scrubbing whitworth for a bit...

  • checked it out and its got a fair bit of leaves and mold on the edges, but nothing serious other than the gashes in the surface are still there.

  • the gashes in the surface are still there.

    Character... it's called character....

  • Wanted. 2 or 3 French speakers to teach polo in the mauritius. More info to follow, but for now, is there anyone in the Manc polo crowd who speaks good to fluent french? If necessary could open it out to Ldn etc, but would be organisationally easier to have it all people from here. If you're interested and want more details PM me.

  • Alex speaks fluent French, but he lives in Tolouse, I can imagine he would love Mauritius though...

    is that Martin thing?

  • i can't speak french but out of interest, how long is the mauritius thing? in weeks.

sorry for the no show sunday, didn't leave Ldn til 2.35! polo bike now has a back brake :)

  • Yeh, it's the martin thing. would be for 3 weeks in about may (dates to be decided on).

  • what is this malarky?

  • Basically, there's some funding in the mauritius (don't ask why there and not here...) for getting polo taught in schools. Needs 2 or 3 french speakers, preferably one girl (though i'm gonna check how essential that is cause it could be difficult to find), would be travel and acommodation paid. The only problem being i seem to remember mcr polo french just about managing with "un bier svp.". So yeh, first call here, if not, can people point me in the direction of other french speakers? alex? any londoners?

  • luis + agata in paris. kev walsh would be a great instructor if they're willing to pay travel from that far.. and of course... Yorgo. unfortunately i don't know him well enough to make a joke regarding his height and playing with children, because the situation is ripe for one.

  • alexander-one at hotmail dot fr that is Alex, he used to live her, now lives in Tolouse, although he promises he is coming back, he'd like this i can imagine!

  • Do youse lot want some coverage for polo in 'large' mag (it's some sort of local manchester thing) - i got takling to the managing director at work about photos. Didn't think at the time but he was saying about needing stuff for coming up issues. I've got his card anyhoo.

  • Yeah.. you could put them on to the UK Polo championships 17th & 18th April
