Happy to have a few tamer, gentile folk camping on my back lawn - at a push I could put a couple in my cellar...
Seriously, the Replacements are up for organisational duties - we're in marketing/printing/advertising etc. so should be able to help somewhere along the line (eg. logos/artwork/bannners/t shirts/meeja etc.). Will there be any entry fees/budget available to play with??

I'm already taking all the Edinburgh folk, and depending on flatmates moving away or not can possibly take the Glasgow and newcastle crowd too. Though I won't know until the beginning of march.
Also, keen to make the trophies if that's alright.

i was chatting to Andy today bout how we are gonna organise this and he made the point that we need to have a organisational meeting soon and someplace without beer, the possibility of Sunday before polo in a nearby coffee shop sounded a good idea....? If we can get everyone who is a ploist/poloista' i Manchester together surely we should have enough people to handle everything well without any one person having too much on their plate
is everyone available Sunday early afternoon?

Not deff, as we hvan't had the meeting etc, but normally there is some sort of fee (although this will prob have to mainly cover side-walls and so on)
How much can you guys get t-shirts printed for? Asbo polo finally need to sort out some t-shirts that arn't spray painted... -

this is great news! can you come along this sunday before polo?, we're going to have a small meeting about it before we play. I mentioned to ben we should do it in starbucks over the road from the car park so we dont end up pissed in the pub

i'll be in wigan, but will see if you're still a-poloing when i get back. and ste or someone will prob be there to represent our haus regarding housing visitors.
in other news, fans of the Replacements might be excited to hear that this friday, there is a seminar at the uni in which the speaker (my friend Bev) promises to "determine the integral cohomology ring structures of weighted projective space and weighted lens space as calculated by Kawasaki".
maybe Mr K can explain it at polo for anyone who misses the seminar!

New prototype mallet, got a bit geeky, be very afraid!
-
• #3716
haha looks good
is the whole in the side for dragging on the side, or just to have less weight?
also i can't think of any advantage to an Xrather than a whole circle, or were you just pissing about? -
• #3717
I love your craftsmanship Mirek
-
• #3718
mmm ... furry
-
• #3719
Thanks Rik I'll be taking it to the kitchen
yeah its a bit rough Colin but it'll get fucked anyway, did get the rasp out to tidy the edges but decided got better things to do.
-
• #3720
@ Woody, sides for dragging and that but it saves on weight too. The X is an idea i had instead of a cap, better air flow....
oh can i return that bike bag to you tomorrow night?
-
• #3721
nice one, you'll notice the difference in shooting accuracy with the x, or a cap. Good idea
-
• #3722
yeah sweet drop it round tomorrow
I need to make some more mallets, just need to get to BNQ to get some bolts, Ste can you make me one of the end plugs? -
• #3723
Round to polo?

• #3724
where's mine?

Think Chan used it, he got it from Hannah, does that sound right?
Well tbh it won't actually be that many, take away 10 or so for those that live in MCR already, minus those people who have friends in Manchester who they can stay with, some people won't stay over, shouldnt be too hard.
I can deff take 6, maybe 9
