Who'd be up for polo tomorow potentially? about 4 oclock maybe, or later? Wd check car park first again cause it makes more sense than risking it i reckon. Anyway, numbers.

woody, read my post on the last page about gloves... for an extra 10 you could have some awesome lacrosse gloves

Just been doing a bit of research into Lacrosse gloves. A lot of players in the states swear by these bad boys! Gotta be worth a try i reckon, plus with all the tourney's coming up next year might be worth the investment.
I've found a shop in Eccles called "Hattersleys Lacrosse"
http://www.hattersleysonline.co.uk/mens/
Who's up for a ride out there one saturday early jan? Would be nice to go and try the gloves on before parting with any cash.
in fact, easier to re-quote!

yeah but the other ones look like they could be used day to day aswell, i hardly ever find my knuckled being hit in polo. not often enough to warrant such big gloves
-
• #3315
i'm gonna start whacking your knuckles in every game from now on. Then you'll be sorry.
-
• #3316
haha. those other gloves do look tempting, i'd love to try some on, just thought i'd try and get some whilst they are 2 for 1

chan dont bother getting lacrosse gloves, i know its the new thing in london but you really dont need that much protection for polo

well not playing with you lame asses i don't. But when netto fly to germany to play some proper players i will ;)

• #3319
oh no you didnt!
-
• #3320
I'm with Ste on this one, i think the gloves will get in the way too much. a little protection on the knuckles isnt a bad thing but they look overkill
-
• #3321
only one way to find out. I've heard they can be as comfy as normal gloves
oh and woody, no polo no talk
-
• #3322
fly. losers.
-
• #3323
so chan, ur basically saying ur lil lilly white hands won't be able to cope with big bad scary german polo? bless. x

i played lacrosse and roller hockey lacrosse gloves are fine and i dont think you'l have a problem using them i just dont think hands get hit that often that hard in polo these were quiet good when i had some and plenty of protection i think:

i think im still gnna go down the ironclad route, cheapish with 2-4-1 and look like they would be quite good for daily ride
i reckon it'll be empty. NYE POLO!
