were is the indoor place, if its in manchester I can come. =D
-
• #2728
but remember we have to pay £24.10 per hour so it will be pretty pricey if it's just 6...£8 is quite alot and that's if nate pays too
if we had 12 people it'd be £4 which would be fine for most people i reckon but still pretty pricey if we decided to do it every weekend in the winter, though when it starts fucking it down and gets real icy it would be nice to be inside...it's at ardwick leisure centre

if its not too cold or raining Id just put up with the cold =D also whats the surface like?
-

@rincewind...we are seeing if it's gonna be worth hiring it for the winter tourney. we can't risk ice and rain for that really

Dangeruss, really like those last three. You and alex ganging up for paris then or is that not possible? Nes, I don't want to try and put together an all girl team but if that's what happens, then so be it. Don't finish work til 5 on Sunday, so would be no use for indoor court. Think that's it, can't wait to get internet back at home.

Si is in too, and Mirek said he could play. Maybe do it another week if we can't get 12 then? I forgot about paying for it.
Also, I thought the point was to check this out for a potential winter tourney court, not for regular sunday/saturday games. We can play a few hours in the car park near the bbc on a sunday - the attendant said it was cool

Just reading back through this thread to find out when I first started playing. 6th March 2009 was my first attempt at polo. Nes took these pictures on the 8th (the second time I came down)
I can't believe how far we've come in 7 months. Some great memories, i love Manchester polo. Who's playing today then?
-
• #2746
what's going on today? is it just indoor court 2-4 or are people heading to manley later as well? Can't come down til 5 but I've just got my bike sorted again so would be well up for getting some games in.
-
• #2747
well i didn't know whether to book or not as it seemed all faffy..let's leave it til the week after paris. i'll go and see him and pay for it tomorrow.

Well it's raining on and off in town... How many do we have today? Do people want to see what the weather does before we agree what do or shall we meet 2.30 at manley regardless?
