Andy, have you got that spare freewheel you mentioned the other day? I spent today mucking about with my polo bike and would love it. Chrrrs.

Also are we deff doing this mni tournament after the fest? Brighton team are keen toc oem up, theyve been bitten with the polo bug

i reckon ther should be a throw in tourney for all the newbies to get in on and experience a bit of a tourney atmos about 2 weeks after the mini fest...OR MAYBE DURING??? then maybe a Winter Hipster Olympics/Winter Hipstapalooza with a polo tourney (and other shit) all that weeekend- before crimbo???

I'd like to put word out if we can decide on a date and also get the other events sorted too but in a way polo comes first so let's let polo decide on a date and then i'll sort other shit for that weekend..tourney on a saturday??

I'm easy as far as dates go. But we should do the throw in tourney on a saturday

5mm is about right, dont go thicker because it weakens the pole too much,

We have a few newbies now and eveyone is cool with the new days so lets stick to them as a gudie, but if anyone does fancy playing other nights then just do it.

Thursday is still the same. I suggested monday as i can't make tuesdays anymore, and because we're playing on monday it made sense to change sunday to saturday. A lot of people have family stuff to do on a sun, so saturday is a good change. It also means you can get wasted and not worry about work.

If most people would rather keep tuesday, then thats cool but i can't play then. I'm sure I asked eveyone about this?

I'd play eveyday if we had enough people up for it!

FYI there are only 3 newbies that look like they may stick around. And the last throw in tourney we did was over after 4 games.

We talked about a proper winter tourney (inviting teams from all over the world). So to make sure we get loads of teams coming to Manchester we have to fit it in around the big London and European polo events that are happening over the winter.

ok. me mirek and adam talked tonight..i'm looking into indoor space for big wonter tourney..will update tomozza...speak to them for more info..PLUS i should be back soon. trying to get advice on my bike from someone this weekend..should be sorted for more polo then until then i have no bike. i shall be in londres for bff to ref with beautiful john...so shall see yous then if not this friday to celebrate adams coming of age..

so are we not having these 2 tourneys? damn

yes, ok sorry was too drunk to type last night.

during the festival there will be an intro to polo on Monday and Thursday

then on the 28th November we shall EITHER have an indoor polo tourney where we invite people from other cities or an outdoor throw in LOCALS tourney. basically we don't wanna invite people from elsewhere if we have to play in the torrential rain. I'm gonna ring the roller hockey court place at 9am and see if we can have it there...will let you know what they say.
