nah, it's fine... it means you CAN drag the ball with your mallet, but you can't drag it through the goal, you have to make a normal shot

Are we all OK with the van then?? It's £134.68. I'll need to book it tomorrow, and pay up-front.

sorry people, i won't be able to attend cambridge this weekend. I sprained my ankle yesterday playing polo, went to hospital this morning and they found bone chipping from previous injuries and put me on crutches for a week and off the bike for two weeks.
I'll be back for the euros but definitely can't make cambridge to play or spectate.
I wish you all the best of luck, and hope this doesn't mess up the team numbers too much.
that was a very civilised post, so have this to compensate...

Yeah, i'm fine with it... so if the van costs, call it £140 and petrol is £40 for the van & £40 for Andys car,, we have a total of £220 split 6 ways, so that £36.67 each
Compared with £65.50 for the train that's pretty good....
Is everyone else ok with that? How do you want money for the van Wayne? i can give you some cash tomorrow night at polo.....

that tubigrip is only one layer thick, should indicate the swelling. the x ray was digital, none of that light box crap nowadays it seems, someone got pictures of it right after it happened but can't find them.
my ankle was about 50% bigger yesterday, the swelling blew up in about 10 seconds, it was disgusting.
the most stupid thing is that i rode home.
-
• #2208
sorry, that did sound a little unsympathetic.... how did you manage it...? did you take any of the the potential opposition out in the process...?

can't really remember, think it was a very average collision but somehow my ankle went over and everything went painful. no opposition taken out unfortunately, but i'll do my best before the euros.

roo - turned soft now you're a southerner again I see!
As for Cambridge, our team's our team - surely??

• #2211
Money on the day for the van is fine.
-
• #2212

-
• #2213
Were you wearing your legbag? maybe it would have protected you.
-
• #2214
oh my god that video is sickening. im wearing splints on my legs for the rest of my life. all the time.
-
• #2215
lol splint everything craig!
i had my legbag in my backpack. i felt naked without it and the worst happened before i could strap it back on. you live and learn.

roo, you look a bit orange, is that the real reason for not coming to cambridge: you went down the salon, stuck your 10 quid in the machine and fell asleep, before you knew it you looked like David Dickinson.
-
• #2217
shit. I asked for Winton but got persuaded that a Davey Dicko would suit my prior complexion more. it's a bloody jip if you ask me, doesn't even show up on x-ray.

• #2218
We still on for this? Andy, Mirek?
-
• #2219
Wayne, sorry mate my internet has been of until now. I'm in, i'll text Mirek now but i reckon this will be fine. Its still well cheaper than the train, but how are we going to re-shuffle the teams now snoops is out?
I guess we'll have a chat about it later. Might have to be platt fields late also.
-
• #2220
Re-shuffle? Are we not just sticking with what we've got and you get a sub?
-
• #2221
Yeah, i guess so. We can ask one of the London lot when we get there.
-
• #2222
Are we planning on staying the Saturday night?
-
• #2223
Yes, snoops has emailed a dude from Cambridge about this so it should all be sorted.
-
• #2224
Sweet. See you's tonight.
-
• #2225
Cool... We'll keep our teams as they were arranged.... and provided it works out with the grouping of the tournament i can sub in for Snoopert, like Sarah did at Oxford, and if we happen to be drawn against each other then i'll play in my original team an Andy & Mirek can get a sub in for that game....
Europeen rules:
Ball Joint and Lobs:
» It is legal to lob the ball (’throw’ the ball with the mallet) and/or to travel with the ball using the ‘ball joint/angelo’ cupping style of carrying the ball but you cannot score with either method.
What does this actualy mean. You not allowed to stick the ball into your mallet?
Would be bad for you mirek and chan...
